Chapter 6

   Parked in front of my childhood home, I couldn't believe I had actually returned back here.

Hell looked different from how everyone imaged. I thought to myself as I killed the engine to my Range Rover and took in my surroundings.

There were a couple of kids up the street playing jump rope and the sound of a police siren wasn't far away, but the view of a Red Mercedes benz pulling into the house next doors drive way snapped me out of my train of thought.

   I couldn't take my eyes off of the car as the door opened and Angela exited looking gorgeous as ever , unlocking the back doors to the car as Little Rick who had gotten so big hopped out the back passenger side and she grabbed a baby about the age of my Allure, and slipped a kiss onto her cheek before allowing her to walk by herself.

  The baby looked like a mirror image of my Allure. I nearly lost my breath looking at her.

The sound of power awakening pulled at my attention as I followed Angela into her home with my eyes.

"We here?" Power asked in a groggy tone causing me to look back at him.

"Yes we are, you ready to see pop pop and mami?" I replied.

"Yep and im hungry, hope mami cooked." He uttered unbuckling himself.

"We shall see, don't embarrass me Power please act like I feed you at home." I sighed turning the engine off and getting out to grab sleeping Allure.

Power chuckled yarning as he grabbed his tablet beating me to the front door of my child hood home.

I hit the alarm on my Range Rover just as my dad opened the front door yelling in excitement.

"My guy! What's up big man!" He greeted Bundling power into his arms as if he were a new born.

Their bond made me smile, even though we lived so far apart to see them interact as if we stayed in the same house warmed me as a mother.

"Is that my little princesses." He chuckled embracing both Allure and I with kiss and hugs.

"Grandma!" I overheard power yell as he went into the house, anxiety covered me instantly.

"Hey my little athlete, give me my love and kisses." She uttered kissing his cheeks making him smile like I hadn't seen in a while.

"Let's get in here." My dad said guiding me with his hand and changing the tone.

"How you been Daddy?"

"Good, what about yourself?" He asked taking Allure out of my arms and kissing her on the cheek.

"Good as I can get." I sighed as I approached my mother who seemed like a stranger eyeing Allure like a foreign object.

"Well hello Madison aren't you going to give your mom a hug?" She asked in a phony voice that I could clearly see through.

I walked over grappling her with a quick hug before awkwardly departing.

"You look good." She replied, placing her hands on her hips and taking the appearance of me in.

"Thanks," I uttered as my dad wrapped his arms around me giving me a kiss.

"Your dad told me you heard from the board about powers dad." My mom began as we started to walk through my old childhood home.
