"This is a night for me and you, I wanna feel the vibe we felt when I proposed." Steph said as we set out on the balcony having a drink of wine overlooking the city neons.

I took a seat on my soon to be husbands lap wrapping my arms around him and laying a embracing his soft lips.

"I never want to lose that feeling baby."

"Why don't we go to meet my parents, just me, you, and the kids... this weekend what do you say?"

My mind ran across the court order as I hummed to my self, "mmm- I would love to but babe it's short notice and—-and I have to talk to you about something."

"What about?"

"This weekend."

"What about this weekend?" He chuckled, resting his hand on my waist.

"I didn't tell you everything outside of us having a scheduled court date, Allure has to stay with Rick this weekend."

"What—-why the hell would that be suitable why didn't you been tell me this."

"Calm down babe' listen I'm not ok with this by far but it's court ordered and I have to get myself together, so I just want to be close by while she's with him so this weekend I'll be staying at my moms."

Steph nodded agitatedly, looking off into a daze briefly, "so you'll be out of town looking after Allure. I can suck it up then... she comes first so I understand. I wish we could've been together, I'm sorry you're going threw this. It took everything in me not to kill this dude."

"Babe no. I don't want you to ever say a thing like that. We have a future and a beautiful one ahead of us. This is just a trial we have to go threw and we'll soon be beyond. I wanna thank you for always being there for me, I just can't even explain how thankful I am baby. I'm so blessed to have you for me and the kids."

Steph gripped my head luring me in for a passionate kiss as we giggled bathing in the love we had genuinely developed for one another.

"I love you girl." He whispered holding my lips hostage. I couldn't do a thing but laugh.

"I promise we will go meet your parents the moment this all is over with... you me and the kids. So what will you be doing this weekend?" I asked finally.

"Probably chart some numbers and come up with another night for the ladies. You know work and more work, but I love it."

"Will Cindy be there?"

"Ofcourse she's there whenever I'm not, the girl is dedicated."

"I guess that's why y'all make great business partners."

"Oh yeah it's crazy how we click."

"So when can I meet her then?"

"How you gone meet her before meeting my parents!?" Steph jeered giving me the squint eyes.

"She's in town they're out of town, soooo that's how... why ? Is she the mystery lady of the hour?"

"Not at all you can meet her anytime, but you'll be back at your parents this weekend soooo maybe we'll come up with a date once things calm down."

"In that case, I should also probably tell you I'm meeting with Ericka tomorrow."

"You say Ericka like it rings a bell?"

"She's Kamron's widowed fiancé."

"Really?"

"And also my former sorority sister who put me threw absolute hell."
