Attempting to gather myself and not show just how angered I was. I decided to detour and collect the soda for Steph then head over to where he was still standing with Angela.
As I approached closer and closer I could hear what they were discussing.
"I was so nervous during the delivery because even though I had been given the epidural I was still feeling so much pressure and pain."Angela giggled causing a smirk to appear across Steph's face.
"Dang, see I'll never underestimate the strength of you women, y'all have amazing abilities to create and produce life. How long was the delivery?"
"Well with Rj it was smooth and about 4 hours top but this little rascal here was a clean 24 hours, I've never known anything like it. But it was worth it, you have any plans on anymore?"
"Uhhh not right now, not just yet still getting everything smoothed out." Steph finished as I arrived giving Angela the stare that was very unwelcoming.
"Angela?"
She glimpsed at me giving me a smirk as a response, "madisonnn? You have gotten yourself quite the fella here."
"Yes. Thank you."
"Where did you guys meet?"
"Um-Steph I don't know if you remember but Angela is Rick's wife."
"I've already introduced myself, Steph recollects me from La when I was cooking."
"Yeah I haven't met this little angel though she's beautiful." He indulged pinching the cheeks of Kay causing her to giggle.
"Can I have a moment with you Steph." I built up the nerve to say handing him the plate.
"Ofcourse, thank you babe." He uttered eyeing the food.
As we walked away to a private section, I turned to him, "I don't want you talking to her."
"I'm sorry babe I didn't realize who she was at first."
"I understand, but could you just avoid having conversation with her."
"Ofcourse anything for you baby."
"I'm serious."
"I am too, hell where I can sit by myself to devour this good ass plate here."
"The corners fine, far far away." I smiled trying to soften the moment.
Steph acted as if he were an obedient child running off with the plate to the tables near the fence.
"You're not jealous are you?" That familiar voice that I hated so much said from close behind me.
"Jealous for what, I'm engaged." I snapped turning to the sight of Angela.
"I was married and you still managed to sleep with my husband. I don't think it matters."
"I'm secure in my relationship there's a big difference between marrying a cheating rapist and a real man!"
Angela chuckled scoffing, " before he was this alleged rapist you were willfully fucking him without a home wrecking care in the world— and another thing, I wouldn't be so sure who you're marrying. He's quite the ladies man... well you must know. Anyone with two eyes can see." She snared with this unforgettable smirk that I was tempted to knock the hell off.
"You can say what you want, at the end of the day your kids will grow up to know their father is a rapist and they probably won't be allowed around him."
