July 7/ 3:17 pm/ 2014

So the next day, I woke up around 3:17 pm and I was awoken by the sound of my mom bursting into my room telling me that I needed to clean up because

"Cleanliness is godliness"

So I got up, put my clothes away, and went right back to sleep.

Then she came in again and yelled

"YOU CANT SLEEP YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AWAY"

so I rolled over and checked my phone

(teenager instincts) and it was dry as usual.

Samia was still MIA, Shemor was still dead, and Taja was probably somewhere eating crawfish.

My dad opens my door. And instead of asking if I wanted to work out today, he says "put on some clothes, we are leaving"

This is unusual because my dad only comes in to tell me that he's about to torture me by making me wind sprint with him again.

When I walked out of my room, he explains that we are going shopping again, as a family.

But then, my mom says "I think we can leave the kids here by themselves, they are old enough for a bit of responsibility"

So I just go and pour myself some cereals and mind my own business.

So eventually they just leave. Without us.

I go back in my room and go right the fuck back to sleep.

I woke up at 5:00 to the sound of them banging on the door.

My mom comes in with some weird hair grease and is just like "try this, it's for natural hair"

So I tried it. I practically still feel my hair breaking off from that shit.

But then my dad came in again and said "we going to work out, I'm taking your brother to the jaguars practice, come with us."

Football season is starting again, and my parents are tired of him playing for a team that loses (the bears) he has played with the bears for two years and they never go more than 4-3.

Which kinda sucks cause some other teams go 7-0

It's pitiful because my brother is a great football player, and he can do so much better.

He plays fullback, tailback, defensive lineman, sometimes offensive lineman.

and can I just say he's pretty damn good. Not only that, he's smart too.

So he's like a floating scholarship.

The jaguars are the best of the best. Why is that? Because they start conditioning a month before every other team, there's a three day boot camp where actual NFL players come in and position teach. The coach also coaches highschool and has coached as well as played college. And, the team is extremely motivated.

This is where I want my brother.

He should try and fit right in. He's too skilled to be playing with boys with no skill and bad attitudes.

Anyway he goes to the practice which is right across the street from my old middle school.

He surprised the coach, because he's fast, agile, and he's bigger than most boys his speed. He also is no where near afraid of contact.

The coach fell in love with kohl.

But, kohl doesn't really want to play for this team.

Why? Yeah, I don't understand either, but I guess it's because he wants a feeling of loyalty to the bears.

I say fuck the bears.

And I can say this because..

I used to cheer/ dance with them

And the coaches are childish, the parents are drunks, and the kids have social issues.

Anyway, we talked about his decision over dinner, and it really upset him.

He stopped eating and got quiet.

I'm not going to lie, I didn't think it was fair that they were pressuring him this way. My mom was yelling and fussing at it was just too much. I just wanted to eat my broccoli in peace.

The dinner ended in my dad being pissed and my mom storming out of the house.

I stayed up that night watching a movie with my dad, and then I watched movies with my mom when my dad went to sleep.

We stayed up all night with a chick flick marathon, and my mom started questioning me about Gavin.

Right when she said it, he text me. I didn't text back bc no.

I got seriously emotional watching "13 going on 30" haha , but after the movie was over, I made a sandwhich and had some orange juice, and then went straight to sleep, at roughly 8:26 am

Good mother fucking night
