2. "Surprise!"

I wake up at 7am for the last day of college. I always wake up early when it's the last day of term because I can't wait to get to school and finish it so I can just chill for 8 weeks.

Once I'm ready I get in my Mini and drive to school. The first person I see is my best friend, Ella. She screams and runs towards me. She's so happy that college is 4 hours away from being finished and I am too.

The day finishes and me and Ella get in my car and we drive to the nearest pub which has a cute beer garden which is so nice in summer. On the way there we start to listen to her playlist as she's the passenger. Suddenly The Vamps new song Just My Type comes on. I scream as it's my favourite song they have ever released. Ella sings along and already knows all of the words to it.

Out of no where she shouts "Sophie! This reminds me!"

I look at her confused while pulling into the car park of the pub.

"Reminds you..?" I ask

"It reminds me how I got us tickets for The Vamps concert tonight at the Genting Arena! Surprise!!!"

Luckily I had just parked the car but I froze. I just stared at her and screamed. "Holy shit! You didn't!"

She squeals "I know! It was so hard to keep from you!"

This is why she's my best friend.

I start to get changed and as it's June, I pick out summer clothes to wear. I choose a denim skirt which shows off my tanned legs and a tight white crop top which shows off my figure nicely. I complete my look with a leather jacket for when it gets cold when we get out of the arena and some vans.

Ella got Brad Pit tickets and the doors open at 6pm however Ella was adamant we got there by 4pm. I didn't ask questions and I just followed her out the house. We got a taxi there as I wanted to have a drink and Ella refuses to drive even though she's 18. When we arrive there were teenage girls queuing outside the main door but there was also a queue at the side of the arena. Ella makes me follow her to the side of the arena and I see a sign saying VIP THE VAMPS.

I stand and stare at Ella. I have no words but I don't know if she is just winding me up or not. She just grabs my hand and we head to the door. Ella shows the tickets and we go though security and stand in line. I have never done VIP for any concerts before and I've been to a lot of concerts in my teenage years. We are very last in the queue and this is probably down to the fact that VIP starts at 4.10pm and I'm guessing these girls have been lining up since the early hours of this morning so they can see the boys first.

The queue slowly goes down and before we know it we are 10 people away from seeing the boys.

Ella has a huge, and I mean huge, crush on Tris. She's bloody obsessed with him. I keep telling her he's engaged and she has zero chance with him but does she listen? Nope.

We're next in line and the suspense is killing me! I start shaking like a leaf and I can't control myself.

The security guard tells us to take off coats and bags for the photo and place them on the table. Ella goes round the corner first and gets a picture with the boys. I then walk in and James is first.

He hugs me and says "Hey how are you?" I just smile and reply with "fine thanks." It then gets to Connor, we hug and he asks the same as James and I reply again with "fine thanks".

However when it gets to Brad it's different. He gives me such good eye contact and brings me in for the longest bear hug ever. He says in my ear "hey, how are you doing?"
Finally, something different. I pull out of the hug and look at him. I just say "yeah I'm good thank you, how are you?"

He smiles and chuckles "yeah I'm good."

I look at him and say "why did you laugh?"

"Because no one ever asks me how I am, it's always me who ask them." He says to me. I just smile at him

I then realise I still need to hug Tris but seeing as I'm the very last person to get a picture I think the photographer and security guards are being extra nice to me. Tris hugs me and says "hey how u doin'?" I have to get on tip toes to reach him. He's so tall. "I'm good thanks, nervous but I'm good." I say.

He just smiles "you have no reason to be nervous, we're normal people just like you."

I move into the middle of Connor and Brad and I shuffle back so I can put my arms around them. I feel Brad's hand curl around my waist and Connor's just rests his on my back. The photographer takes 3 pictures then I walk off but Ella shouts to them. "Hey! Can we get a picture together? Me, my friend and the boys?" The security guard sighs and nods and the boys smile and welcome us back.
I slide in next to Brad and Connor again and Ella stands in between Tris and Brad but is more fussed about Tris. Brad curls his hand around my waist again and I do the same to him. We take a few extra pictures as there's no rush.

We say thanks to the boys and security for letting us have extra pictures done. I turn around as I'm walking off and notice Brad staring at me. He just smiles and winks at me. I don't know what this means but I get all flustered and just smile back.

We enter the arena as we have early entry and as most of the VIP people have tickets for the Wow Pit, the Brad Pit is very empty. We get middle barrier which is perfect because it meant we could see straight down the runway and we knew Brad would come to the middle and sing a song at some point.

The boys came on stage and the arena was mental. It was the loudest concert I had been to.

Brad, Connor and James come to the Brad Pit stage around half way through the concert and Brad's microphone stand just so happens to be right in front of me and Ella.

He notices us and gives me a smile, clearly remembering us from VIP. They start to sing an acoustic version of Middle Of The Night. It gets to the second verse and I start recording as I'd like some footage of this concert to remind me of it.

When I look up at Brad I realise he's staring at me while singing. He doesn't stop staring at me until it hits the chorus when the boys start to walk down to the main stage and Tris starts playing the drums. Then the real Middle Of The Night starts to play and the crowds goes crazy.

The concert finishes with the boys performing All Night and then confetti cannons go off. This was hands down the best concert I've been to. It's so nice to see how much effort they put into organising it.

The concert finishes and me and Ella put our jackets on and leave the arena along with the over excited teenagers coming down from an adrenaline rush.

Once we get back to mine, we change into our pjs and get into bed. Luckily I have a king size bed so we both fit in it with plenty of room. I fall asleep to the sound of Ella humming Wild Heart.
