28. "Let's go on a walk."

We've been back in England for a couple of days now. I've been sleeping literally all day every day since we got home and I'm pretty sure Brad has done the same since I've barely seen him.

Our parents have been out a lot doing their jobs and going out for dinner most nights so I haven't seen much of them either.

I decide to get my lazy ass up and out of bed to go and make breakfast. I make a full English because even though I was only in America for a few days I really missed English food.

I made eggs, bacon, sausages, toast and beans. I also cooked extra of everything in case Brad woke up and guess what? As soon as I sat down and started eating, his head popped round the door of the dining room.

"I thought I could smell bacon." He said in his croaky morning. He was wearing just Calvin Klein boxers which didn't leave much to the imagination. He still drives me crazy when I see him topless and it's strange how one boy can have this effect on me.

"Help yourself, I made extra." I say with a smile as I continue eating.

Once he's plated his food up and sat down opposite me he starts eating away like he hasn't seen food in a month.

"Hungry?" I ask whilst chuckling.

He just looks up and me a small smile tugging at his lips then continues eating.

"So I was thinking." Brad says as he finishes his last mouthful and sits back in the chair at the dining table.

"You were thinking what Bradley?" I ask

"Let's go on a dog walk." He says with a childish smile on his face.

"Ok sure I mean it's like 30 degrees (°C) outside so I don't see why not, may as well make use of the summer whilst we can." reply whilst taking our plates to the kitchen and into the dishwasher.

I go upstairs and put on shorts and a strappy top, grabbing my sunglasses and putting on my vans.

I get the leads for my two dogs and attach it to their collars.

"Are we going to get Jesse?" I ask Brad as we're about to leave the house.

"If that's alright with you? I haven't seen her in ages and although I love your dogs, I really miss her." He says to me

"Of course, that's fine, we can pick her up on the way and I totally get it. I would miss these two crazy dogs so much if I didn't live with them." I reply back as I shut the front door and give Brad the lead to the younger of my two dogs.

It doesn't take long to reach Anne's house and she welcomes us with a smile and a hug each. I'm glad she's fond of me and doesn't think I'm some sort of traitor because my mum is going out with her ex husband. That would be awkward.

Once we've collected Jesse, and Brad has finished giving her many cuddles, we start walking to Sutton Park. The same park me and Brad went to where we bumped into each other after our first family meal together at my house, then we got caught in the rain and me and Brad both came back to his Mum's.

That seems like that was years ago but it was only a few months ago.

"What are you thinking about?" Brad asks as he bends down to take Jesse's lead off and I mimic his actions to do the same with my dogs.

"How it's weird that I've only known you a few months yet we've become so close in such a short space of time." I say, opening up to him.

"I guess we just...click." He says as he looks at me and smiles.

"I guess we do." I say smiling back at him.

After 30 minutes of small talk we start to speak about the American trip.

"So what did you get up to apart from writing and the music video?" I ask him as we sit on a bench under some shade in the park.

"In New York we've done all the sights and stuff because we've been loads of times before but our favourite thing to do when we go to another country is try all of their food. So when we went to New York we tried to go to the most American places we could for lunch and dinner everyday." Brad says and I just can't take my eyes off him.

The way he's leaning his back against the bench and the way his arm is draped behind me I can't help but stare at him. "And in LA," he continues, "we sort of did the same but because we we're only there for a few days we tried to go to more expensive restaurants. Mainly because Tris and James wanted to go in case there was a slight chance of seeing one of the Kardashians but that never happened." Brad finishes whilst laughing.

"What did you do whilst I was away?" Brad asks me as he turns his head to face me.

"I'm not going to lie, it was so boring at home without you. I saw Ella a few times but her parents are having issues so she wasn't really in the best of moods whenever I saw her. I went down to London and stayed at Ana's with Kirstie one night. That was fun. And apart from that nothing much really." I say to him.

I start to think if I didn't anything else remotely interesting whilst he was away then something pops into my head.

"Oh my god I forgot to tell you!" I shout as I sit up straight from the bench causing Brad to jump out of his skin.

"Tell me what?" He asks calmly.

"I got into the university in London I applied for!" I exclaim with happiness.

"Oh my god that's amazing Soph! Well done I'm so proud of you!" He says as he pulls me in for a hug.

As he pulls away his face drops slightly and he looks down.

"What's wrong?" I ask him gently.

"Well if you're going to be in London and I'm stuck here in Birmingham then how do we know when we'll see each other?" Brad says still looking down.

"We'll work around it." I say trying to stay as positive as I can. "And I'll come home most weekends when I can." I say and Brad smiles at me.

"I think we should go back and celebrate. Does your mum know?" Brad asks me as he stands up then calls Jesse over to put her lead back on.

"Nope you're the second person I've told, Ella being the first." I say which makes him smile even more.

"I'm glad you told me." He says as he pulls me in for a hug and kisses me on the cheek.

Once all three dogs are on leads we start walking back to Anne's house to drop off Jesse then we head back to our house and break the news to our parents, mainly my mum.

A/N

Hellooo I'm back! I've started writing another book called The Office and it's another Brad fan fiction but I'm not going to start publishing it until this one is finished.

A few chapters ago I said I was going to be doing a sequel to this however I don't think I am anymore as I am planning on ending this at 35 chapters and I can't see a sequel happening. HOWEVER I hope the new book makes up for it.
