===== (5 years later) [Y/N's P.O.V]

I grab my son, groaning playfully as I pick him up,

"Wow Dylan! You're getting bigger. Mommy's going to have to stop carrying you." I kiss his cheek as he whines,

"Noooooo! I don't wanna walk!" He crosses his arms. I shake my head,

"Dylan, you turn five today. Don't you wanna be mommy's big boy?" I squeeze his knee. He nods frantically. I grab my keys and carry him to the car.

~At The Mall~

I release Dylan at the entrance of H&M,

"Go pick out 2 shirts and 1 pair of pants, buddy. Can you show me those numbers?" I hold up my hands and show him the numbers. He flashes the numbers back and runs off. I sit on the bench in the front and go through my social medias. I hear a familiar laugh, a laugh that I was sure I would never hear again. I ignore it, hoping it was just a coincidence. Three guys walk past me and into the store, and immediately go for the jeans. I make full eye contact with Grayson and he blushes hard. I smile politely and grab Dylan as he comes running over,

"What shirts did you get buddy?" I hold them up. He had his favorite colors, blue and pink for shirts. I giggle and take his pants. He picked a pair of blue pants. I grab his hand and walk past Grayson and the guys, hearing an ever so slight whisper,

"Dude, she has a kid. She moved on." I bite my lip and check out quickly. I pick Dylan up and hand him the bag,

"Happy birthday little boy." I ruffle his hair. He laughs,

"Mommy, I'm not little anymore. I am this many." He holds up his whole hand and smiles proudly. Tears well in my eyes,

"My baby knows his numbers." I hug him and walk out the store. As I'm walking, I get stopped. I turn and see Grayson standing there,

"Hey Y/N. Long time, no see." He runs his hand through his hair. I nod,

"Yeah." I got really nervous. Dylan filled the awkward silence,

"You look like the-" I cover his mouth and look for my best friend who offered to babysit him. She said she wasn't far. I put him down and held his hand,

"Dylan, that's enough. Go find Auntie Y/F/N." I set him loose in the store. Grayson bites his lip,

"Moved on I see." He nods his head to Dylan. I shake my head,

"Not quite." He cocks an eyebrow. I sighed,

"Look, here's my number, I have to go." I scribble it on one of the notepads in my purse and dash out with Dylan.

~Later~

Y/F/N took Dylan and had him at her house. I collapse on my couch and open my notifications,

Grayson: Hey, sorry about earlier

Me: nothing to be sorry for

Grayson: so how's life been

Me: simple. I have a kid, i live alone

Grayson: can i come over?

Me: sure

I give him my address and sigh. Not much later, I hear my doorbell. When I open it, Grayson was there looking extremely scared. I wave him in,

"Make yourself at home. Dylan isn't here." I sat on the couch. He sits across from me,

"That's the question Y/N. Is he mine?" He wipes his tears. I nod,

"When I left, I was pregnant with him." I check my phone as it rings. Y/F/N screams,

"I don't know what to do! He's asking for his daddy, screaming and turning blue! Help!" I bolt up,

"We have to go!" I rush out and just assume Grayson is following me.

~Hospital~

I pace the room, waiting for the alleged forms I was supposed to receive. When they came, I filled them out quickly. When I get done, I hand them back. The receptionist reads them over,

"His full name please?" I grimace,

"Dylan Robert Dolan." She types it somewhere and asks me to sit. I rock back and forth. Grayson puts his arms around me,

"He'll be fine. I know it." I lean my head on his shoulder. He puts his chin on top of my head just as the nurses call my name. I get up and run to Dylan's room. When I get there, he looks at me all excited,

"Mommy!" He runs and hugs me. I hug him tightly and sniffle. He sits down,

"Mommy, do I have a daddy?" He swings his legs back and forth. I nod,

"Of course you do." Grayson walks in. I glance at him, feeling petty as ever,

"Your daddy just didn't want to be with your mommy at the time so I left him. After that, I had you, you little miracle." I tickle him, but he didn't laugh,

"Why? Did daddy not love mommy?" He starts to cry. I look at Grayson and control my anger, hugging my son,

"I don't know baby. Shh, it's alright." I pick him up and check out of the hospital.

~Home~

I put Dylan to bed and fall onto mine. Grayson texts me,

Grayson: are you just not going to tell him that im his dad

Me: well, atm he thinks 'dad' doesn't love me or him

Grayson: ily both, but i've missed the first 5 years of his life

Me: and that is your fault for cheating

I ignore him the rest of the time he messages me, trying to clear my head. The doorbell rings and Dylan runs to get it,

"MOMMY! IT'S GRAYSON!" I rush out and roll my eyes,

"Hi Gray." I plaster on a fake smile for my kid. He smiles as well, hugging me,

"Hey." He ruffles Dylan's hair,

"Wassup little buddy?" Dylan latches on to his leg as Grayson steps toward the couch. I sigh,

"Dylan, I have to tell you something."
