===== (Y/N's P.O.V)

Funeral day. I was prepared. I wasn't sad, nor was I happy that Sara was gone. It was just another thing to deal with on top of everything else. Sid stayed close to Ethan, but Ethan stayed close to me. I flashed Sid a look,

"I promise Sid. The pain won't last forever. It'll be gone before you know it." I sat in my seat. Sid hugged closer to Ethan. He ignored it. He leaned into my ear,

"Be nice. At least for today."

I had to drive Sid home, she was too hysterical. She grabbed my leg,

"Ethan..." She looked terrified. She checked the backseat. Y/N was blasting music, I could hear it through her headphones. I side-eyed her,

"Hm?" I turned the corner. Sid kept glancing back,

"She threatened to kill me." She was whispering. I kept it cool,

"I don't think she did." I had to protect Y/N in some kind of way. Sid squeezed my leg,

"She did. She did. I promise." She glanced into the rearview and froze. She released my leg and took long, deep breaths. I looked at Y/N. She smiled and yelled loudly,

"What?!" She couldn't hear herself. I shook my head and looked at Sid,

"You'll be fine."

~Sid's House~ [Time Stamp: 3:00 p.m.] (Ethan's P.O.V)

Y/N stuck close to Sid. Sid looked to afraid to move. We were all sitting on the couch with Sid's family. Pure silence flooded the room. Y/N leaned against Sid, whispered something in her ear, and nodded. Sid bit her lip and looked at me. She was truly shaken by something. She got up and walked out the door. Y/N was smiling. Her parents did nothing. I followed Sid,

"I'll be back." I closed the door. Sid looked a little sick. She grabbed my shirt and pulled me close,

"I-I'm breaking up with you." She looked like she was going insane. I was confused,

"What? Why?" Our faces were centimeters apart. Our noses were touching. She looked down at my mouth, pressing her's against it. It was short lived and sweet,

"Your sister threatened to kill me. More than once. Ethan, she could've really done it. She killed my sister!" She let me go,

"Ethan, I have to protect my family. If it means I can't be with you, then that's how it's going to be." She went to open the door, but it was already open. Y/N was glaring,

"Did you just break up. With. My. Brother?"

~Sid's P.O.V~

I was terrified. I wanted to say some type of anything, but all I could do was stutter. Ethan was in between us,

"Y/N, calm down." He faced her. She whispered something to him. He looked at me,

"She said Maliyah pushed Sara."

~Third Person P.O.V~

It was multiple weeks later. Halfway into the investigation, there was a breakthrough. There had been a live footage feed of the incident. Lawyers were called, parents were warned, and children were informed. Ethan, Y/N, Sid, and Maliyah were all sitting in a private room. They were unable to speak to each other. A heavy set police officer sat in the chair on the other side of the desk,

"So children, one of you's pushed a girl into a truck. Says here one of you two pushed 'er." He pointed to Maliyah and Y/N. Y/N was straightfaced and calm. Maliyah was shaking and screaming on the inside. The police officer leaned forward,

"Now, I don't wanna have to, but imma crack all 4 of you's 'til one of ya talk." He eyed Ethan,

"Yer first, pretty boy." They went into a different studio room. Y/N turned to Maliyah,

"You shouldn't have pushed her." Maliyah's blood was pulsing in her ears. She shook her head, glancing at Sid,

"I d-didn't push her." Maliyah was shaking. Y/N rolled her eyes, going still as the officer came back in with Ethan. Y/N was next. She was questioned thoroughly. The officer asked her multiple versions of the same questions to trip her up. It didn't work. Y/N returned to the room, smiling. She winked at Sid. Discreetly. Only Sid saw.

Sid and Maliyah went. Separately, of course. Maliyah came back hysterical. Sid comforted her. The police officer sat down again,

"Well, we have our culprit kiddies. The little one did it." He pointed straight at Y/N. Y/N didn't react. Maliyah screamed. I realized that was all in my head. Sid was red,

"She did NOT." The police officer had pointed at Maliyah. Maliyah was rocking back and forth and praying. I was in shock,

"Y/N DID IT!" I shut my mouth right after I said it. Y/N turned to me,

"I didn't push Sara. Maliyah did." She cocked an eyebrow. I rolled my eyes,

"Oh give it up! You got into her fucking head and twisted her all around and TOLD HER TO PUSH SARA!" I was livid. Y/N flinched, crying. I scoffed,

"Stop faking." I stood, but an officer grabbed me. He sat me back down,

"That'll be enough. We have our evidence and they point to Maliyah." The thicker officer smirked like he was amused with himself. He shrugged,

"No charges though. Too young. No juvi. You're lucky kid. 150 hours of community service. Be grateful. He tossed his folder down and left. When the door clicked shut, Sid went off on Y/N,

"HOW DARE YOU?! YOU'VE BEEN TROUBLE SINCE DAY ONE! I KNEW YOU WERE PSYCHO, BUT KILLING MY SISTER?! YOU'RE A MURDERER! YOU HEAR ME?! YOU ARE A MONSTER A-" A slap bounced off the concrete walls. Y/N's hand dropped to her side. Sid didn't move. Y/N got close to her,

"You don't get to call me a monster. You don't get to call me a murderer. I would be careful Sid. You're walking a very thin line and, if you're lucky, the only thing I'll do is push. You. Off of it." They had backed against a wall. Sid was on the floor. Maliyah had fallen silent. I was in pure shock. Y/N's head snapped up. She crouched and got in Sid's face. An officer came in. I knew it,

"She heard footsteps. Observant." The officer sat,

"Any other evidence you got?" He crossed his arms. I jumped up,

"I DO!"
