"Do I just give it to her? Dude, you gotta give me some kind of advice." I sat on the edge of my bed. Ethan shrugged, sitting at my desk,

"She's not my girlfriend. This is all you." He held his hands up in mock surrender and left the room. I pulled my phone out,

Me: hey

Y/N: long time no text lol

Me: I know

Me: but why text when we hang out everyday

Y/N: tru

Y/N: what's up

Me: pool day?

Y/N: sure

She didn't take more than 15 minutes to get there. I'm assuming she was just coming to the backyard to say hi because she was still in her clothes. I stood up and she hugged me,

"Hi, Grayson. Hey, Ethan." She waved to him. I knew her phone was in her pocket, so I went with my gut and tossed her in the pool. Ethan laughed,

"Bro, you're fucked now."

~Y/N's P.O.V~

The cold water shocked me before I could think. When I came up for air and got out, I shoved Grayson,

"What the heck?!" My eyes went wide,

"Grayson, my fucking phone is RUINED!" I pulled it out of my pocket and threw it at him. He laughed as it hit him and backed away from me. I groaned,

"Gray, this isn't funny. Now I don't have a phone." I took my shoes off and shook the water out of them. Grayson laughed a little more and hugged me. I pushed him off,

"I'm actually mad. Like, that was my phone." He smiled,

"I have a surprise for you." He ran into the house and returned with a small gift wrapped box. I sighed,

"What's that?" He held it out to me,

"A present." He smiled childishly. I took it from him and just stared. He kissed my forehead,

"You're mad. I know. But, you've been talking about getting a new phone for a while and I know you've been working double day shifts and night hours for it. So, I took it upon myself to blow some money on a brand new iPhone XS Max." He watched as I opened the box. Just as he said, there was an iPhone XS Max, still in it's box. I smiled, not as mad as I was before,

"Grayson, really? Stop. You're messing with me." I hugged him. He laughed,

"Nope, it's all yours." I kissed his cheek,

"Did you really have to push me in the pool, though?" He shrugged,

"Go big or go home?"
