Crying // Grayson Dolan

You had just finished a project and you were very proud of yourself. You decided to reward yourself with some ice cream. As you sat on the couch to eat it, your boyfriend walked in,

"Hey babe." He kissed your forehead. You smiled,

"Hey Grayson." You licked a spoonful of ice cream into your mouth. He giggled at you and walked out of the room.

~That Night (3:00 a.m.)~

You had just woken up and Grayson had his arms securely wrapped around your waist with his head on your chest. You ran your fingers through his hair and listened to his soft breathing. Out of nowhere, tears began to fall onto your shirt. Quiet sobs came from you, unheard by your heavily sleeping boyfriend. You had no idea why you were crying, nor did the awakened Grayson. He leaned his head up to look at you,

"What's wrong babe?" He got all the way up and hugged you tightly. You sobbed loudly, letting all your mysterious feelings out. He kissed your hair,

"Y/N, what's wrong?" He tried to pry your fingers from your face. You shook your head,

"I don't know!" You screamed into your hands. You crawled on top of Grayson, hysterical. He rubbed your back and whispered soothingly in your ear. Hiccups soon replaced the heavy sobs yet your tears came faster than ever. Grayson leaned you back so he could see your face,

"Stop crying, you'll make yourself sick. Why are you crying?" His eyes overflowed with concern. You sniffed, still hiccuping,

"I-I don't know. I c-can't stop." You dug your face into his bare chest, trying with all of your willpower to stop crying. Your tears kept falling, but the sounds coming from your mouth ceased. Grayson wiped under your eyes,

"What happened?" He asked for the third time. You shook your head,

"I woke up and tried to fall asleep while I was playing with your hair and then I started crying." You wiped your face as the tears stopped falling. He hugged you close,

"I'll always be here for it."
