He kept it secret for hours, you catching glimpses of the dog tag. As you were sitting on the couch, he kneeled in front of you and brandished the ring. Tears spurted from your eyes as he slipped it onto your left index finger. You stared at the words etched in the ring,
"With me?" You looked at him,
"What does that mean?" He slid the dog tag from under his shirt, fully revealing the words, 'I carry your heart.' You cried more, hugging him tighter than ever,
"E, I told you not to-" He cut you off,
"I know, but it's the little things."

It was Valentine's Day. You and your boyfriend, Grayson's, 3rd anniversary. You both had compromised that you weren't going to get anything. As you sat on the couch, glancing ever so slightly at his phone, you noticed a picture,

You had recently seen that computer at a store. You got up and walked away, only to be dragged back down by Grayson,
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to A/F/N's house." He let you go, whimpering as you walked away. You threw your hair into a messy bun, grabbing your car keys and rushing off.
*At the store*
You grabbed the laptop, making the decision before you could regret it. The cashier smiled sweetly,
"Is it a special occasion?" You nodded,
"My 3 year anniversary." The cashier nodded and checked you out,
"Have a nice day."
*Back at your apartment*
You slowly closed the door, careful not to make any noise. Grayson saw you anyway, getting up and hugging you tightly. He noticed the bag in your hand,
"That from A/F/N?" You lied,
"Yeah. She was excited." He nodded and sat on the couch, continuing to scroll through his phone. You quickly ran to your room, wrapping the laptop and placing it in his room. You sat next to him, leaning your head on his chest. He kissed your head, getting up to go to his room. He came back, holding the wrapped computer. You smiled, getting up and going into your room, only to find a box yourself. You picked it up, going back to the living room. Grayson grinned,
"On 3?" You nodded,
"1... 2... 3!" You ripped open the box, finding another smaller one. You popped open the box,

Tears spilled over your cheeks as Grayson opened the laptop box. As he opened it, he gasped, pulling you into a hug. He gaped at the box,
"You didn't!" You blinked, sniffling,
"Oh, but I did." He kissed you repeatedly, giving you no time to breath in between giggles. He stopped,
"We said no gifts." You raised a sarcastic eyebrow,
"It's the little things." He looked at you like you were crazy,
