Doctors and nurses charged inside the operating room. Her friends worried sick faces want to go inside but a nurse stop them before they even make any step closer.
"I'm sorry but I'm afraid I can't let you in" sabi ng nagmamadaling nurse kasabay sarado ng pintuan.
Walang nagawa sina Jonathan, Lizette and Greg but just to stay calm outside and pray for some miracle to happen.
An hour passed, the doctor came out from the operating room.
" We really need to conduct a heart transplant as soon as possible! The patient will die soon if we can't do the operation now!" doctor
"Wait what about Jarke? I thought his going to be the donor?" tanong ni Greg. He just then realized that Jarke was no where to found.
"He didn't tell you?" The doctor sigh "We run some test on Jarke's heart unfortunately his heart is not compatible to Ms. Valdez, we might successfully transfer his heart but that won't last for a week. Hashley's body will reject it right away" -doctor
"What we gonna do?"Lizette while shaking.
Jonathan was about to say something just when a person approached the doctor. "Doc! Finally we have a donor"-nurse
"Does it match?"-doctor
"99% matched!"-nurse
Nabuhayan ang tatlo ng marinig ang magandang balita.
"We have no time let"s do the operation now!"-doctor
Sa hindi kalayuan ay nagdadasal ng mataimtim sa simbahan si Jarke habang dumadaloy ang mga luha nito.
"Lord our savior, Thank you for letting her and my son to be part of my life. Thank you for everything! I'm so sorry for all the evil thing I've done especially to my love one's but please.....sob....sob... just this last time let her live, let my love live in exchange of mine" people was looking at Jarke not because of him crying but because of the bruises he got on his face.

And just what Jarke prayed, a miracle just happened. The operation was successful!
"Can we go in now?" excited na tanong ni Greg nito sa doctor.
"Not yet, Ms. Valdez's needed to have some more rest before accepting any guests. We'll inform you in a minute" the doctor said before leaving them.
"Should we inform Jarke about Hashley?" Lizzete
"Why bother Lizzete?! Where is he? His not even here! How dare he vanished just like that without saying anything! Does he really love her?! Damn!" mangutal-ngutal na sambit ni Greg.
Jonathan patted Greg's back and said. "Let's not make any judgement yet. Maybe......maybe he has an important thing to settle first"
"Important thing?! Is there anything more important than Hashley right now?!! galit na angal ni Greg.
Nahinto ang magkaibigan when a nurse told them that Hashley's eyes are opening. They excitedly run inside but Jonathan felt uneasy thinking about Jarke.
