CHAPTER 42 - OUR SON

After what happened between us with Jarke yesterday ay napagdesisyonan kong umuwi na ng Manila. And I don't know whether I should tell him about our son or not. I'm afraid, what if he will not accept the fact that he has a son to me? Can he accept my son? Or just reject him like what he did to me? I can't buy to see my son hurting by his own father.

"Mommy where can I put my shirts?"

"Just put it in your bed sweety mommy will arrange that later and rest your body for a while"

"Are you sure mom?" I stand and walk towards my angel making myself be level to his height.

"Mommy will be okay kaya take some sleep baby I know that you tired yourself along the way kaya punta kana sa bed mo" my son just give me a reassuring smile and kiss me in the cheek and drifted off.

Andito kami sa condo ni best nakatira. Dito muna ako pinatira ni best to make myself and my son's safety from Spencer. Wala na akong balita sa kanya ngayon. I know that Spencer already track us but the question is why doesn't he make a move to get us? Is he tired of tailing us? Or does he have a big surprises that will shock the h*ll out of us? Oh my gash sana hindi totoo ang mga hinala ko.

I was out of my reverie when I heard someone buzzing in the door. Maybe it's Lizzete baka chini-check niya kami.

"Wait up!"

"Hey Liz-" I stop in track when I saw who's in the door looking so devilishly handsome with his white polo shirt and faded jeans. Kahit parang walang suklay ang buhok n'ya he's looking perfect pa rin.

Napanganga ako sa nakita ko. Mabuti na lang at nag-register lahat ng hinanakit na ginawa n'ya sa akin kahapon. And then I remember my son. Panic overload all over my system kaya sinara ko bigla ang pintuan without minding that his right hand was holding on the side wall in the door kaya ayun naipit.

"Ouch! Sh*t!" napamura tuloy siya ng wala sa oras.

Nataranta naman ako my mind debating whether I let him inside the condo or not. But the big part of me afraid of my child's presence kaya siniradoan ko na siya and locked automatically the door for safety precaution.

"Open this goddamn door Hashley! Kung ayaw mong sirain ko 'tu!" he's been shouting like that for an hour I wonder why kung bakit hindi pa siya sinisita ng mga guard.

Nagpatuloy lang siya ng ganun hanggang sa kumalma na ang sa labas. I think nagsawa na siya sa kakasigaw. Hay thank you Lord.

I went to Jash room and check him. Tulog pa rin ang anak ko. I brush his smooth hair with my fingers. Pati buhok niya namana niya sa ama n'ya wala na bang natira sa akin?

"Mabuti ka pa anak mahimbing kalang natutulog without knowing the outside world. Tama lang 'yan anak because I can't live seeing you in agony and away from me" I kiss my son's forehead and decided to cook for dinner.

I set my phone to my favorite music.

I sing a long the music when I heard a bell from the door.

Grrrrrrr don't tell me siya pa rin 'to? Nakakabanas na siya ha. But hindi boses n'ya ang naririnig ko?

"Ms. Valdez kung ayaw mong makulong mabuti pang buksan mo ang pintuan at sumuko alang-alang sa batas at sa kapayapaan" wtf?! sumuko? makulong? What did I do to be threatened like this by the police?

Sasalita pa sana ang pulis ng inunahan ko na silang pagbuksan ng pintuan.

"Goodevening police officers but I think you have mistakenly approached the wrong person. As long as I remember I haven't done a crime against the law" bumilog ang mata ko ng biglang sumulpot ang taong mahal ko at the same time ang taong kinamumuhian ko.

"Really Ms. Valdez? Then can you explain what happened to my hand?" he's now throwing daggers in my side.

"I-I don't know about that Mr. and don't you know that accusing someone will lead into a crime stating in RP Act-"

"Ohw I forgot you're a lawyer. Then Atty. Valdez why not we use the cctv for my evidence?" he smirked at me. Natulala naman ako I can't even move. I think I look pale in front of them. Hindi ko namalayang nakalapit na pala si Jarke sa may tenga ko.

"If this scandal reach in public I don't know if you still have the countenance to face the people." napalunok laway ako. Habang 'yung mga pulis nakatanaw lang sa amin para bang nakikitsismis lang hindi man lang nila ako tinulungan babae pa rin ako nuh!

"W-what do you want?"

"Let me get inside your condo and will talk"

"Then wala akong choice but to bring you in prison" the feeling of me as a lawyer will put in jail? No! That can't be! Kaya out of the blue ay napapayag ako.

"Fine!" then I close my eyes and bold my nuckles. Sana hindi magising si Jash. Lord please help me.

Jarke talk to the officers at ilang saglit lang ay nawala na ang mga pulis. Ako tulala lang nakatanaw sa kawalaan.

"Hey do you have the decency to invite me inside?" proprotesta pa sana ako pero parang pinaglihi si Jarke sa walang kahiyaan and invite himself inside.

Hinabol ko naman siya agad.

"Jarke just stay here in the living room!" napalakas ata ang sigaw ko natataranta na kasi ako.

"I know that I'm not welcome here but can you pay some respect to me Atty. Valdez-" napahinto siya sa pagsasalita and stared intently in the wall sinundan ko naman ang tanaw niya and sh*t! Iyong picture frame namin ni Jash nailagay ko pala sa ding-ding. I hurriedly cover myself from his eyesight.

"Ah-ah J-Jarke I-I think you need to go home now" shetey bakit ba ako nauutal.

He stand from the couch and approach me.

"W-who's that young boy with you Hash?" pilit kong tinatakpan ang frame pero nakita pa rin n'ya ito.

"Tell me!" magsasalita pa sana ako when I heard the sleepy voice of my son.

"Mommy?" napabalikwas kami at nadapo ang mga mata namin sa nagsalita. I glued directly in the floor. I look at Jarke's expression, he's shocked and can't move as well.

This is not good!
