Upon reaching the end of the staircase, Hael instantly cursed as he picked up the "vibes" this floor was giving him.

"Shit..."

Straight ahead from the staircase opened three paths, each of which pitch black. The only lighting was the dim shine from the rocks outlining the stairs...

What caught Haels eyes was the deep color of the walls. They glimmered with grey shine... I seemed he'd just encountered an iron vein. Appeared within one to be exact...

As if to confirm his thoughts, the metal pipes on the roof revealed themselves as they started heating up providing warmth and deep red light. This light started spreading and flowed deep into all of the three paths, providing minimal vision... Still dark compared to the floor below.  Not that Hael had any problems with that. His dark vision didn't require nothing more than the light in his own eyes.

Changing back into the main task, there were no signs of information about which tunnel was the correct one. That being said Hael walked straight into the middle path. It was no use spending time worrying about which path to take when there was no way to know for sure...

Haels ace in the hole relied on something else than information. It was intuition! Normally when people faced such options they would choose the left path, but since Hael was aware of this he decided to outsmart the mountain and pick unexpectedly the middle one.

-Surely a dangerous challenger,

He chuckled to himself.

...........................

About 2 hours of battling later.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!"

On the second floor the monsters surely were stronger but still gave no trouble to Hael who was growing pretty heated at this point.

That was because he had chosen the right path to the next floor but lacked the items to break through. At the end of the middle path he was greeted with a large golden bell, hanging from the ceiling.

This item required a some sort of tool to get a sound out of it. And of course this thing would be in either of the other paths. Hael figured this out with the help of a popup which appeared upon reaching the bell and the impenetrable wall of mist blocking the cave behind it.

The popup said:

"To wake up a golem, you need a bell and a hammer."

As Hael strode back the way he came from he tried to think of a battle strategy to contain the rising anger, but it was getting the better of him. After all he had psychologically chosen the correct path didn't he? Why is it that the bad luck keeps following him around.

Hael continued his fearless march until reaching the starting point again and this time picked the path to right.

The form wasn't much different here, but the monsters were even more easier than the ones in the middle tunnel. Small stone creatures were the main opponents here. As expected they struck hard and took some force to defeat but were slow. It took Hael for supposedly around few hours to reach the end of the right tunnel... only to face the fact that he had chosen wrong again.

This tunnel had absolutely nothing valuable. Instead when he turned back towards the way he came from a surprise was prepared for him. An army of nasty looking furless creatures holding various home made weapons were blocking the bath to back to the center. It was a trap. The most trap like trap of all time. The oldest trick in the book, and there was no way to avoid it, with bad lack...
