Hael, close after followed by Hit and Carmel along with the fastest adventurers, reaped through the enemies a single target in his mind.

Most of the golems were left for the masses following the frontline to deal with as they proceeded towards the lord. That was the natural way for things to turn out since even though some adventurers, the truly strong ones, were able to advance with ease using their various skills to take down the golems, many others were having trouble.

Cryztaliced golems were definitely stronger than any monsters from the earlier levels, meaning that if you had barely reached the top or got carried this was to be expected.

Even if the diamond hall was thrown into chaos few things were rather easy to pick out from the storm of rubble and sparks.

Carmel turned out to be the most powerful force when destroying the golems since she was able to use her magic from such a wide range. Her void hit the enemies from above causing each of her targets to explode into a cloud of crystal dust.

...She alone was dealing more damage than half of the whole group of adventurers.

Hit also was taking them down with his precise accuracy, but required more careful aim to be able to pierce their vital spots, thus he wasn't quite as fast as the other two.

Worth mentioning was that it wasn't only the middle section that rampaged through the golems.

From both sides left and right golems were bursting in pieces by unknown forces that left lots and lots of expectations... To Hit who was pretty much the only one who was simultaneously keeping track of the state of battle with his Corrupt Visions.

As for Hael, running wild ahead, he just sliced through the golems that had survived the attacks from the two, with the un-hatched, clearly being made of superior material to a mere crystal, it was a piece of cake.

And eventually, for Hael and the people who made it into the true front line, getting through didn't last too long. It was the same feeling as if you had cut down the henchmen before the actual enemy appears... and that feeling proved to be quite accurate.

After reaching and defeating the last golems, which so far had been respawning immediately after on the same place, now stopped doing so....

And a presence, from whole another plane of existence, appeared.

The strong had passed the first stage and in front of them stood the boss. It did seem large even from afar but up close by it really was quite the monster.

The frontline was quiet. From behind you could still hear the clash between the mob of adventurers and the remaining crystallized golems, but no one besides hit payed attention. Everyone waited.

Everyone waited, for his move.

Standing straight, the about four meters tall creature stretched its right arm and grasped the air summoning a large spear.

Instantly, without a warning the Lord swung it few times above his head and struck the ground with its hilt. A massive shock wave followed right after.

Hael shouted, "block" to Carmel who he knew, could do it, and dashed towards Hit who couldn't hope for such with a bow.

He made it just in time as the air pressure wiped over him and nullified the shockwave by slicing through it. Then right after proceeded to see if Carmel was alright.

"Shocked, fast inhale"

But while his eyes crossed the area even Hael had to forcibly draw breath.

The ground was shattered, crystal dust everywhere, wide empty space, just like before the start of the battle. It seemed like some sort of natural disaster had struck from out of the blue.

Each one of the back line adventurers out in the open was blown away along with every still functioning golem. The amount of challengers had been cut to a third of what it used to be with one blow... When looking closer the same treatment had faced many of the true frontline as well. Only a few had managed to block it.

Having noted that, the defeated golems melded back into the ground and formed another piles of crystal rumble, some adventurers managed to survive by diving behind those still in process.

The sight was absurd and slowly Hael started to understand why the boss fight was revealed so early. With a hollow laugh he stated,

"So this is the power of the lord of the first realm... Pretty strong Id say."

Hit nodded and Carmel floated to them as well. She really was unharmed as expected. Imagination sure is a strong power. It would have been fine to catch some more breath, but unfortunately the boss didn't allow his visitors a moments rest. Lords fractured voice echoed through the hall forcing everyones attention towards him,

"I am the lord of the first realm, Nobunaga.

My mission... is to protect the first realm of Infinity given to me by him, the sole ruler, the god king of Infinity. I accepted this mission and vowed to fulfill it... But I must say that it turned out to be much easier than I expected.

You lot are comparable to a bug under my feet... But I honor your will, thus you will be granted a choice. Leave now and survive! Hone your skills under the guidance of the strong and you will be allowed to challenge me again...When you actually stand a change...

Instead if you still choose to fight, as you witnessed, by my hand you will all be crushed. I will give you one minute to decide"

Haels jaw had dropped somewhere along the Lords... no Nobungas lines.

-Now this was more than unexpected! Could this be a stroke of luck... For some people sure but for me? No. Not really.

From the beginning I only had one goal and that goal is not going anywhere. I will be the one, who rules over this world. I will not let this world end up like the first one...

Humans rot whatever they touch... For that reason I will take it upon myself to make sure that this world stays clean! And if I cant overcome something like this theres no way I can rule anything.

Determinate as ever Hael stood up and started walking towards the lord without a word. Everyone needed to make up their own minds. Even in the face of overwhelming power those with true determination would fight. Only those who really were worthy of challenging the mountain would proceed.

Who would have the resolution recuired, the gold, hidden within their soul?
