Hael, Hit and Carmel followed the ever mumbling crowd slightly behind. There was no reason to hurry, It was certain that there would be room inside for everyone.
While Hael had slight difficulties containing his excitement, they still decided to go through the "plan" once more. There were few important principles that they had agreed on after all.
First and most importantly, a teammate would never be left alone in trouble. Team here meant the three of them. No one else as of this moment mattered.
The self proclaimed leaders that were even at this moment, ordering others around could do as they pleased as long as it didn't affect them.
That being said it was almost certain that the first group would get wiped out... No one knew the strength of the enemy and these meat heads that bothered acting big weren't smart enough to prepare... At least thats what Hit and Hael predicted.
...
Excitement was almost touchable as the stream of adventurers started flooding out of the staircase.
Everywhere, people nervously clinging onto their weapons or tried to ease the tense with joking around or rather boast with their achievements so far, but that was nothing new. After all this was the first time in the history of mankind that people could face such experience.
These people who had overcome the challenges, by whatever means, the game had set so far would be the first humans in the world, to be able to participate in such activity.
Excitement of this level was of course to be expected. Even Hael who normally would be disgusted to no limits by the sheer amount of people was now cheerfully jumping up and down the stairs chuckling to himself.
Though he was far enough not to hear their chatter which was a major factor in keeping him functional.
Hit on the other hand was calm and Carmel a bit tense, but you could see the fire in her eyes as well. The same one Hael and Hit had. Despite their reactions, everyone felt it. There was no way, they couldn't.
...
Finally the crowd had passed allowing them to freely arrived at the end of the staircase.
As people had reached the top, moments ago the chatter had fell quiet and in place, just silent gasping filled the air.
".........."
So much space.
At least ten times the size of the earlier cave, a whole hall made of diamonds. Or more accurately it was as if the whole top of the mountain was one large diamond and inside it, carved this, the throne room.
The air inside was clean and cool as if it was in constant circulation from the outside, yet there was no wind.
Above their heads the sun shone through the diamond roof, from the cloud completely devoid of clouds, sending rays of light moving around the floor.
Those lights were eventually the ones that captured our attention.
Streams of light... They were no coincidence.
At first the lights seemed to move randomly but as mid day, the promised starting point, grew close all of those rays shared a destination.
