Ch. 25 - Days off

It was around mid day in front of the boss room of the first realm, the Earth realm, and the cavern was starting to fill up from adventures. 

Not that many had appeared yet but still enough for Hael and his companions to start feeling a little uncomfortable. Though all of these new adventures seemed like a decent bunch. There were some clans and solo adventurers alike, but none of them really had strength to spout nonsense like they usually would do. Aside from a rare few expectations, everyone just collapsed at the entrance...

Earlier Haels group had already shared all the necessary information with each other about the climb to the top. 

I turned out that Carmel had had it easiest. She was able to use her magic in almost every situation and for example stay out of the enforced gravity at the second floor boss fight. 

Hit on the other hand had had some problems there since his arrows were affected by gravity, but he had managed to calculate a proper way for them to help trip the monster just like Hael had done as well.

...But as expected, the biggest surprise for both Hit and Carmel was the fact that Hael had demolished a full clan with its carries (the people paid to help them through). 

While both agreed that it was wrong to get helped through the mountain, questions like was it really necessary to sent the whole clan back to the graveyard. Hael showed nothing but a grim smile and answered, 

"Yes."

With a voice that sent shivers down the spines of everyone surrounding them. The subject was dropped and then it came down to the final part when Hael told that he had met a friend right after arriving at the top. The two were curious about it but he didn't reveal who it was and just told them that when the time comes they would know. 

After giving it some thought, Hael left out the part about the fox people and the life force he had been given since the two only mentioned that the teleport had taken them back to the White rock... 

It would not be proper courtesy to go blabbering about such an event that was presented to no one but himself. Of course he trusted the two, but this wasn't only about him. 

So after all the information was exchanged and a proper rest was achieved it was time to plan the continuation. 

Hael and Carmel were blissfully ignorant about the time, so it was up to Hit to spit some details. 

"So, back in White rock we decided the time limit to be 12 days right? Since the fight would open in 14. Today is the 10th day since our departure. Which means that we have a full 4 days to spend in whatever we like. In other words all of us made it through faster than expected. On the contrary I arrived on the 9th day early morning, and Carmel the day of the same day. About Hael I don't know.

Anyways, I suggest that we make some plans for these days since spending 4 here wont be possible for me." 

- So everyone had reached goal faster than expected...

Hae though and reached out to pat Carmel's hair who was playing with her magic next to him.

She showed a dazzling smile and lifted a thumb.

But really, whats next...

"Mmm how much money do you have on you right now?"

Carmel spoke while back on focusing in her work.

She was creating a complex tree out of glowing purple threats. It resembled an old oak. Even single one of its branches connected to each other with a slightly deeper shade of violet than the main structure.
