Aria

I was currently laying in the raft with my blanket wrapped comfortably around me while Thaleia held me close to her. It's been approximately three days since I saved Thaleia and left home. So far things have been calm yet boring, god you have no idea how bored I was just laying in the raft all day with nothing to do. My phone had no signal which meant no games, Thaleia and I have had sex during are small journey but I was still bored.

"Thaleia, where exactly are we going?"

"We are going to Mako Aria, you know that so why do you keep asking me that silly question?"

"I'm bored!" I tell her in a whine voice as she kissed my forehead while smirking.

"We could always have sex again."

"I'm tired of sex... I know! You could teach me how to swim!"

" I'll be happy to teach you how but are you sure your up for it? I mean you are scared of the water."

"I'll be fine Thaleia, I'll have you next to me if anything happens." She squints at me as she scans the open ocean before stretching.

"Let me just make sure the ocean is safe, we are close to the mysterious beyond."

"Mysterious beyond?"

"It's better if you don't know what Lies underneath you Aria. Trust me, if I where to tell you that what you people call a megalodon lives deep within the beyond you would never want to step foot into the..."

Fear consumed me as I grabbed Thaleia's arm pulling her back towards me in sheer panic.

"P-Please don't leave me, w-we can forget about s-swimming."

"Fuck, I'm so sorry Aria! Sometimes I forget I have no filter."

"I-It's fine, just don't leave me." She smiles before pressing her lips up against my own making me relax a little more as she pulled me into her.

"Don't worry Aria, I will never leave you."

Smiling at Thaleia my stomach begin to growl making me groan as I pull out another sandwich before splitting it in half so I could save the other half for later.

"You know Aria I could always get you a fish if you run out of food."

"No offense Thaleia but fish is gross."

"I'm just saying maybe our daughter would like fish a lot better then what you people call a sandwich?"

"And what makes you think it's a girl? It could be a boy."

"My kind rarely produces boys."

"Yeah? Well my kind does."

"Trust me Aria, our child is a girl no doubt about it."

Shaking my head I lean my head on shoulder as I take a small bite of my sandwich trying to preserve every once of food I have.

Thaleia

After Aria ate her food she fell asleep peacefully making me smile as I put her bag underneath her head before covering her up with her thin blanket she had with her before I dived back into the ocean I made sure she was asleep once again before diving in. Aria didn't know this but she needed fish, if our daughter was anything like me then she must be hungry for it.

I stop swimming as I look back up at the raft making sure it was moving ok and that's when I noticed it. The small slit on the side of the raft making me frown as I swim towards the raft to see how much air it was loosing, much to my dismay it was loosing a lot but thankfully I knew a seaweed that could patch it right up. Swimming deeper into the ocean I begin to get weary of my surroundings. The mysterious beyond is a dangerous place to be in especially for a siren like myself. Taking a deep breath I grab what I need then quickly swim back up towards the raft sticking the seaweed on the slit I begin to look for fish. I knew that once Aria smelled the blood of the fish she would devour it within seconds.

I stopped swimming as I begin to here soft sad humming making me frown as I go towards the noise. I know going towards the noise is probably one of the stupidest things I could ever do but something about this persons voice seemed familiar.

I stop wants I see familiar blue eyes looking towards me making my eyes widen in surprise.

It couldn't be?

"Thaleia? Is that you?"

Happiness surged through me as I swam quickly towards my mother before wrapping her in a big hug.

"Where on earth have you been?"

She smiled at me weakly as she looked around with deep sadness in her eyes making my heart ache a little.

"I seem to have lost my way, could you help me get back home?"

"Of course mother but I must get back to my mate."

"Mate? Your to young to have a mate."

"I'm almost 200 years old mom." Shock was shown on her face along with Confusion."

"Surely I haven't been gone that long, have I?"

"I'm afraid so mother, Aqua and I are grown up now. Mom has been missing you terribly, she feared that the humans might have killed you."

"The humans have done terrible things to me, but there not all bad one of them actually helped me escape."

I smiled as I hug my mother once again. "Come, let me introduce you to my mate."

"Don't tell me your mates a dolphin? Those creatures can be so annoying and bad company."

"You can relax mom, my mates actually a human. She rescued me from the people who where experimenting on me."

"You got captured?! I thought I taught you better."

"You did mom I just wasn't being careful, anyway I can't wait to introduce you to Aria she's even pregnant with my child."
