Finally, we fly out of the portal and towards a planet much smaller than Earth, but that looks a bit like it, with blue oceans and green land and clouds.

"Whoa, that was..." Lance starts but is interrupted by Hunk, who is currently throwing up.

I look over, my eyes wide and my mouth hanging slightly open in slight disgust. Seeing someone vomit is never a pleasant thing.

"So sorry," Hunk says.

Pidge readjusted her glasses. "I'm just surprised it took this long," she admits.

"I don't recognize any of these constellations," Shiro speculates. "We must be a long, long way from Earth."

I look outside and frown. Me either, and I can name just about any and all constellations. How far exactly were we from Earth?

"The lion seems to want to go to this planet. I think..." Lance says. "I think it's going home."

I sigh. "Well if anything attacks us, at least we have a giant robotic war machine, right?"

The lion speeds up and flies towards the planet, and I see everything tinged in red as we descend. So this planet has an atmosphere. That's good. Maybe there's oxygen. We finally breaks through and we fly down past blue skies and fluffy clouds. I clutch the seat and lean forward as violent turbulence shakes us around.

"Guys, personal space," Lance says. "Hunk, your breath is killing me."

"Um, is it just me or is anyone else having second thoughts about flying through mysterious wormhole?" Hunk asks.

Yup, buddy, I want to tell him. It's just you.

"It got us away from alien warship, didn't it?" Lance shoots back.

"I don't know if you noticed, but we're in an alien warship."

"Oh, are you scared?" Lance mocks.

"With you at the helm? Terrified."

I chortle. Good one, Keith.

"All right, knock it off," Shiro reprimands, glaring at all three of us. "No one's happy to be in this situation, but we're here now. If we want to get through this, we've got to do it together. "

"So, what do we do?" Pidge questions.

I stare at Shiro expectantly. He's a good leader, he knows what he's doing. I, on the other hand, am this close to actually having a panic attack, and maybe breaking down in tears.

"First, we find out where we're headed," Shiro declares. "Lance?"

"I don't know," comes the reply. "I'm sorry, the lion's not talking to me anymore. Wait! Wait, wait, wait! Shh! Listen. I think I hear something."

We all pause and listen. I hear some sort of high pitched something and frown.

"I'm hearing it, too," Keith says.

I look around for a source. I really hope it's not a gas leak, or a bolt coming unscrewed or something.

"It's uh, it's kind of a— a high-pitched squeal?" Hunk says, his eyes flitting around the cramped room.

The squeal turns into a loud fart. Coming from Lance. My hand flies up to cover my nose and I groan, both outwardly and inwardly. What is he, six? Everyone else groans and cover their noses, complaining.

"But seriously, there's a castle up ahead."

I look over from my half turned position to see what he meant. My eyes grow twice their normal size. I've seen plenty of castles, when I lived in Europe with my family, but this castle is unlike any of them. It's so high tech, but also abandoned, the grass overgrown, the bridge breaking away bit by bit. There is no town around, so I wonder just how old it is. It's very obviously been abandoned for a while. The castle sits atop a cliff overlooking a sparkling ocean with aqua blue waves crashing against a white sand beach, making me miss my old childhood home. The one we lived in near the Mediterranean, in the south south of France, before we moved back to the states when I was 6.
