A/N Sorry for the late update! Don't worry, we'll check in on Jane here soon! Now, on we go.

----
Thursday night rolled around and Brady was nervous. He had worked with Korsak on getting accompanying instruments.

"Don't worry kid," Korsak says helping Brady get set up, "you're gonna knock his socks off."

"But Korsak, this is Nick Forset we're talking about. He's the best in the biz! Hell, he's been selected to write the next Bond theme." Brady said.

"Don't worry. You are talented Brady. Now, get the jitters out. You have to preform in less than ten minutes." Korsak smiled.

---
Nick Forset sighed as he walked into the Dirty Robber.

He was on a deadline for new talent or else he was fired.

Sixteen cities in four months, and nothing worth signing

He sat down at a table.

"Welcome, how are ya doing?" A watriess asked.

"Okay, I guess...you?" He looks at her.

"Pretty good. What can I get you to drink?" "Beer." "Alright. I'll be back."

She walked off as a voice came into the speakers.

"Hi, I'm Brady Rizzoli-Isles. I'll be singing for y'all tonight."

Nick turned and faced the small stage.

"Uh, so my first song is an original that I wrote after my Ma was sent overseas and was taken captive. This song is called 'Yellow Ledbetter'. This is for you Ma."

Brady started playing:

"Unsealed on a porch a letter sat.
Then you said, "I wanna leave it again."
Once I saw her on a beach of weathered sand.
And on the sand I wanna leave it again. Yeah.
On a weekend I wanna wish it all away, yeah.
And they called and I said that "I want what I said" and then I call out again.
And the reason oughta' leave her calm, I know.
I said "I know what I was the boxer or the bag."

"Ah yeah, can you see them out on the porch? Yeah, but they don't wave.
I see them round the front way. Yeah.
And I know, and I know I don't want to stay.
Make me cry..."

Nick was shocked at the talent of this kid.

He pulled out his phone and dialed his boss's number.

"The hell do you want Forset?"

"Sir, I have found him." Nick says before holding his phone out for his boss to hear.

"I see... Oh I don't know why there's something else.
I wanna drum it all away...
Oh, I said, "I don't, I don't know whether I was the boxer or the bag."

"Ah yeah, can you see them out on the porch? Yeah, but they don't wave.
But I see them round the front way. Yeah.
And I know, and I know. I don't wanna stay at all.
I don't wanna stay. Yeah.
I don't wanna stay.
I don't wanna stay.
I don't... Don't wanna, oh... Yeah. Ooh... Ohh..."

Brady finished and got a huge round of applause, "Thank you."

Nick put the phone back to his ear, "Well?"

His boss only said two words, "Sign him."
