"There is no sign of regrowth, so it's not a tumor." Amelia said as she sat down in the chair across from Jane. "So why did I attack my wife?" Jane asked.
"I'm guessing some deep rooted PTSD. You'll have to talk about it with Roman. My next question is why did you come up to New York unannounced?" She looked up from the paperwork.
"I thought that I had a regrowth that made me attack her. Look Doc, I want to get better for my family, but I can't do that if I don't know what the hell is wrong with me!" Jane's voice raised.
"Jane, you are medically healed. That's why we have you with Doctor Holiday. If you want to be healed, you have to be willing to put in the work. You can't allow yourself to dwell on with the things that you've bested. Let yourself recover emotionally now. Okay?" Amelia took Jane's hand and squeezed it.
Jane nodded, "Thank you Doc." "You're welcome." Amelia smiled.

Maura had taken the next few days off to figure out her next move. She loved Jane, but was afraid of getting hurt again.
She decided to meet up with Angela for coffee and ask her what to do.
"And you just left?" Angela asked. "I didn't know what to do. Did I overreact?" Maura looked at her coffee. "No. You did what was the safest at the time. I do have to ask, are you going to leave her?" Angela took a sip of her drink.
"What?" "If you do, you'll still be part of this family, but I want to know what makes you feel safe. I won't be angry with you if you do. If it's safer for you and the kids, I won't object." Angela took Muara's hands into hers, "Just whatever you do, just make sure that you let yourself heal as well. If you need me to, I can watch the kids for a few days if you need to get away."
Muara sniffled, "You have been so kind to me." "Do what you need to do to heal." Angela smiles.

Apologies for the late update! I have been busy with moving and job hunting so this chapter probably wasn't the best. With that being said, these updates might not be consistent as I'll be starting that job here in a few weeks.
Just a heads up we are starting to reach the end of this story. I'm not sure how many chapters are going to be left, but I can guarantee that the most will be probably about 14 or 15. Once I have a better idea I will let y'all know.
But for now, update to hopefully be out before the new year!
