Chapter 1

Its been a few weeks and Blaine had already adapted to the school
He became good friends with Rachel, Mercedes, Tina, Artie, Sam, and Mike
"So glee club practice" Rachel came up to him
"What about it" Blaine asked
"We are doing duets" Rachel cheered
"That's cool" Blaine closed his locker
"Why don't we be duet partners" Rachel suggested
"I thought you wanted to do a duet with Finn" Blaine told her
"Do not speak of my crush on Finn" Rachel said
"Its true" Blaine shrugged
"I'm just doing it because you're sometimes lonely" Rachel told him
"I hang out with you guys" Blaine reminded her
"Wait, don't tell me you have a crush on someone" Rachel said
"Um..... Well you see" Blaine scratched his neck
Just then, Kurt came up to him and said
"You heard what we're doing in glee club"
"Yeah, duets" Blaine told him
"So I was wondering if you would like to be my duet partner" Kurt asked
"Well..... I'll think about" Blaine was blushing
"Ok, see you later" Kurt winked
"Yeah" Blaine smiled
Unforuntely, Rachel saw it
"We need to talk" Rachel took Blaine into a empty classroom
"What's going on" Blaine asked
"Are you seriously considering being Kurt's duet partner" Rachel said
"Maybe" Blaine blushed
"Blaine Anderson, don't tell me you have a crush on Kurt" Rachel asked
"Um....." Blaine couldn't find the words
"I knew it" Rachel said
"So then, why did you act like I didn't have a crush" Blaine asked
"Because I wanted to know if it was Kurt you had a crush on" Rachel told him
"Ok what's the big deal" Blaine was getting mad
"Ok, I didn't want to tell you this but I have to" Rachel paced around
"What is it" Blaine asked
"Kurt is the school's bad boy, he basically dated everyone and occasionally hooks up with people and then two months later, dumps them" Rachel told him
"You're kidding right" Blaine felt his heart shatter a bit
"No, I'm not and beside he's dating Brittany" Rachel said
"Oh ok" Blaine looked down
"Look, I'm doing this because I care for you and I want to protect you" Rachel saw the look on Blaine's face
"I'm so stupid" Blaine yelled
"No, you're not" Rachel comforted him
"What, am I supposed to do now" Blaine asked
"Pretend like its impossible to win your heart" Rachel suggested
"What" Blaine asked
"Basically if Kurt tries to convince you to date him, pretend like it doesn't impress you" Rachel explained
"I mean, I guess I could try" Blaine shrugged
"Trust me ok, now let's go" Rachel said

He still liked Kurt
