twenty one

christmas came too quickly, and momo spent her first day of christmas break in a mall, hurriedly trying to buy gifts for everyone. luckily, she succeeded, and even bought gifts for nayeon, jeongyeon, and sana. sana still hadnt called, but momo had hope that she'd come around some day.

when the day of the christmas party came, momo felt happier than she had ever felt before. she slowly surprised people with gifts all night.

firstly, she surprised jihyo by giving her the blue and white polka dotted dress that she had pointed out once during the summer, and a small stuffed animal. it wasnt much, but jihyo's face lit up and she covered momo in hugs and kisses. repeatedly saying "thank you!"

she then surprised mina with her gift, two books she had been talking about wanting to read for awhile and a shirt just because momo could almost see her in it.

she gave dahyun an array of sweatshirts and hoodies because she always complained about being cold, and a small eagle finger puppet as a joke, but dahyun wore it on her fingers for the rest of the night.

chaeyoung received a polaroid camera that used to be momo's. she didnt use it anymore and thought chaeyoung would like it, and she did. she thanked momo and turned the camera towards tzuyu and snapped a photo.

momo gave tzuyu an outfit for her dog, Gucci, just because momo loved it so much. she gave tzuyu a pair of sneakers and a shirt that momo wanted to keep for herself.

she felt good making her friends smile for once.

they all fell asleep cuddled up together, tzuyu holding chaeyoung's small frame in her arms, next to mina snuggled up next to jihyo, next to dahyun who slept with her head on momo's lap. momo quietly talked to dahyun and jihyo until they all fell asleep.

momo felt overly happy watching her friends slowly drift to sleep after a fun day. she felt thankful for all of them. she was so thankful.
