It was now Saturday, the day of the ever so famous (usually) monthly event the Losers Club Sister Slammin' Sleepover ™️. This month it was taking place at Eddie's house because his mother was out of town for a conference for the church or something like that.

In the morning Richie and Eddie got ready for their friends' arrival by tidying up the kitchen and living room, which were littered with opened chip bags and uneaten popcorn. 

By the late afternoon, around 4.30, Stan, Mike, Bill, and Ben had arrived with movies and games and sodas. They gathered in the living room knowing a bit of what had happened the night before. 

"So, are you guys like dating now or..?" Ben asked curiously as to what went down.

Neither boy said a word to any of their friends about the tad hiccup they had... you know... about Richie cheating on his ex-boyfriend with Eddie... yeah... that hiccup.

"I asked Eddie to go on a date with me." Richie replied still not really knowing if they were going to go on that date or not.

"You actually leave your front door unlocked? Come on Eddie, has this town taught you nothing?" Bev spoke as she walked through the hall entry to the living room where the six boys were.

"Sorry I'm late, I hit a slight bump in the road on the way here." None of the boys knew if she meant with the car she was borrowing or with something completely different.

"I- I didn't hear you knock. I'm sorry, Bev." Eddie said to the beautiful redhead standing in front of him.

Bev chuckled lightly, "I didn't knock." She spoke as she took a step and sat between Richie and Ben. "So. What are we talking about?" 

"A-A-Apparently Richie and E-Eddie are dating." Bill said.

"who woulda thunk?" Bev said sarcastically.

"We aren't dating, it's not like that," Eddie said hastily

He had only come out to Richie, although he told Ben and Mike he had kissed him and said yes to a date. He still has this voice in his head saying he's not gay, and that he's not even bisexual. He doesn't want everyone to know. Eddie figured that Richie had told Stan, but not Bill and Bev.

It's not that Eddie was scared that his friends would judge him, he knew they wouldn't, but he had this feeling deep down that if he came out as bisexual he could never change his mind. And like he had said before, Richie is the ONLY MALE he had ever developed feelings for.

Richie looked saddened by his reaction to the simple joke. 

"Okay, then what are y-y-y-you then?" Bill questioned.

"We aren't anything. We're friends, going out on a date. That's it." Eddie answered

"So the date is still a go?" Richie asked for affirmation 

"What happened to make you think you werent going on the date?" Stan asked

Richie gave stan a knowing look but still answered the question. "Uh nothing, I was just making sure my little Eddie spaghetti wasn't going to flake on me."

"Okay, new topic," Mike said, "who wants to play a game?" he gestured to the stack of games they had all brought. 

After two rounds of Uno, Stan winning one and Bill winning the other, one game of Sorry, and a 'winner stays loser doesn't' game of connect four (which took longer then any of them had expected)which Bev won, and will never let anyone forget, it was 8.20 and they all decided that it was about time to order the Chinese food that they were promised.
