These past few weeks Ashton and I have gotten closer by the day. We would both blow off lunch with our friends to hang out, going out every weekend, I would go to every band practice, yet we would still act like we hated each other whenever anyone was around.
Today was one of the rare days where we didn't have to wear our uniforms to school. There was hardly any dress code for these days since it was a fairly rare occasion. Just the length of shorts, dresses, and skirts were penalized; thankfully shoulders could be out, and it was nearly the end of term, making it hot as hell.
I woke up and texted Ashton.
Me: Good morning Ash, remember free dress day. x
Ash: Morning Kitty. See you in an hour xx
We've gotten more like a couple although we're not putting labels on it just yet, no matter how much we both secretly want to.
I got out of bed, put on some music and started to get ready. I woke up early for the first time of this school year to do makeup. I threw on a black dress, laced at the top. Arabella was wearing the same dress in pink, Elena in blue, and Rose in red. We also had matching heels. Most of these days we wore sweatpants and hoodies, or athletic shorts and tank tops, but today since it was one of the last days of school, our entire year made a plan to dress nice for once and surprise our teachers. I knew of a few guys who had full on rented suits but most are going to wear jeans with a nice shirt.
I did a pretty heavy amount of makeup, mainly focusing on eyes. I have bright green eyes so blacks and golds made the color come out even more than normal. I then curled the ends of my hair so they'd be loose waves. Once I had finally finished, I strapped on my heels and headed out to Luke's car. He was already in just waiting for me to be ready, I got in the passenger seat to hear him singing. "You guys really should make a YouTube channel" I complimented as I sat down. "Thanks Kat, maybe we will" he smiled. "You look great by the way." "Thanks Luke, you do too" I said as he started to drive.
Once we got to school I was met at the front by Arabella, Elena, Rose, Calum, Michael, and Ashton. All the girls smiled in excitement meanwhile the guys dropped their jaws. "Hey guys" I smiled walking over to my friends and hugging them. While I talked to my friends I could feel Ashton's eyes burning into my back. When I heard the bell ring I walked over to Ashton as we all walked to our lockers. "You look great" I said quietly. "You look even better" he smirked down at me. "See you in class" I whispered as we parted ways to go to lockers.
"We look so good" Arabella squealed and hugged me once we got our books. "Right" I laughed. We walked to our classes, our loud heels echoing with every step down the corridor. I was the second in class, of course Ash was the first. "Hey" I started as I walked in. He rushed over to me, picked me up and carried me back to my seat. "What was tha-" I laughed before being cut off by him gently kissing me, I kissed back for a few seconds before realizing Luke could walk in any moment. I pulled away feeling my face blush.
"What was that for" I chuckled lightly, as practically the entire class walked in. "You just look- wow" he said, his cheeks red as well. "You do too" I laughed, he truly did. He looked hot. Scientists say the sun is the hottest thing in the universe, but I beg to differ.
Mr. Carter walked in with a surprised look, seeing everyone dressed nicely for once. "Oh" he gasped. "Well good morning, your final exam for this class as you know it is tomorrow. Most of you have you English exams today so good luck. Today, we'll be doing some review" he introduced.
The entire class groaned, his review consisted on asking random questions and choosing anyone to answer it, even if they didn't raise their hand. His favorite people to choose were those who obviously weren't paying attention and were studying for other tests.I got out all of my notes and waited for the questions to start.
