That night, Liz and Andrew were out which meant Luke would have the boys over and they'd be drinking all night. They all drove to our house and carried liquor and beer bottles up the stairs as they talked. "Guys it's a Monday night" I said shaking my head. "Do we care?" Michael asked as they stumbled into Luke's room. "Just keep it down, I have homework" I said rolling my eyes and closing my bedroom door behind me.
I sat at my desk and took out all the binders I needed. Chemistry, English, and Math.
I quickly changed into a pair of pajamas so I didn't have to spend one more second in this skirt. I threw my hair up into a messy bun, put on my glasses and walked back to my desk.
I sat back down and put on a pair of headphones and played music as loud as possible in attempt to drown out the sound of my cousin and his very annoying best friends.
Halfway through my abundant amount of homework, I heard a loud knock at my door. I let out an exasperated sigh before getting up and opening it. "What?" I asked. It was Calum. "Um Luke was wondering if you could, uhh" he said slowly. "Continue" I said becoming impatient. "If you could make us food?" he spat out. I could tell he was nervous to ask me, knowing I would probably explode.
"Well you can tell Luke that-" I started before realizing how rude I sounded, Calum was just relaying a message. I sighed deeply. "What do you guys want?" I asked and took of my glasses to rub my tired eyes. "Pizza" he said hesitantly. "Alright. It'll be a while because I have a bit more to do then I'll make it. Ask if he wants chips too" I said. "Thank you Kat" he said. I was slightly taken aback that he actually thanked me. "You're welcome" I smiled and went back to my working. Luckily the last bit I had was Math which was my best subject so I finished in about 15 minutes.
Once all my work was done I walked down to the kitchen and got out the ingredients to make pizza. I already knew they liked pepperoni for Luke and Calum, Pineapple for Michael, and cheese for Ashton; I do this a lot. When I closed the fridge door, I saw Ashton standing there with a smile. "Jesus you scared me" I said clutching my chest.
"Nice PJ's" he said with a slight smirk. I looked down and realized I was wearing probably the shortest shorts imaginable and a burgundy tank-top, laced at the top and bottom. "Thanks, now what do you want" I said holding back from blushing. "Luke sent me down for glasses, drinking out of the bottle can get... boring" he said. "Okay, you know which cabinet I assume?" I asked. "Obviously" he said and grabbed four liquor glasses before taking a few shot glasses as well.
"I'll bring the pizza and chips up in about 30 minutes" I said, not looking up from the counter. He didn't reply before walking back upstairs.
Once the pizza was done and the chips were finally cooked, I put them on plates and carried them up along with water. I opened their door to see them taking shots. "It's done" I said and placed all the food on Luke's desk. "Ok, out" Luke said not even looking up from the Xbox. I just walked out, closing their door behind me, coming face-to-face with Uncle Andrew.
"Oh hi" I said with a smile. "Hey Kat, what's Luke doing?" he asked. "Oh he's just playing Xbox" I said, well I wasn't lying, I just didn't tell the entire truth. "I just went in because I made him pizza." He smiled down at me and ruffled my hair. "You're the sweetest" he said with a smile. "Thanks" I laughed.
"Why are you and Aunt Liz back so soon?" He gave me a slight look of suspicion considering I haven't moved from Luke's door. "Some things got changed around, we're leaving again in 10 minutes. We probably won't be back until around 4 so please just watch over Luke. It's sad to say but that boy needs to be watched" he explained. "Oh okay. Well, I have to get back to my room" I said innocently. "Alright love, goodnight" he said and walked back downstairs.
