*Later That Night*
Amy had fallen asleep and I was wide awake, gotta love caffeine. I carefully got up and walked down to the kitchen to get water. I saw out of the front window that all of the guys' cars were still here, meaning they were staying over.
As I walked past the living room, I saw Luke and Calum passed out on the couch, their heads slightly dangling off the side. Their lips were slightly parted as low snores filled the room, probably coming from Luke. Michael was awake, laying upside-down off of the couch as he scrolled through his phone. Meanwhile, I couldn't see Ashton anywhere.
I shrugged it off and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a bottle of water and jumped up to sit in the counter. I scrolled through my phone before hearing someone's voice. "Hey Kat" they said, their voice quiet. I looked up and saw Michael. "Hey Mike" I said with a smile. "You alright?" "Yeah, I'm good" he said timidly. "No you're not, what's up?" I asked, hopping off the counter.
"Just school stress, I'm honestly ready to drop out" he chuckled. "I feel you, I want to drop out every day" I agreed. "I just want this band to work out, Ashton's graduating early he's been doing so much, so is Luke" he said. "Wait, really?" I asked. He nodded as he took a sip of the beer he grabbed from the fridge.
"I hope it works out for you guys too. You're amazing and I hope everyone can see that" I reassured him. School has gotten a bit rough for them, people didn't see how great they were, and didn't find it "cool" because it was different. "Thanks Kat" he said with a smile.
"I'm not lying, you know. You guys really are great. I have a feeling you'll have a huge impact" I said, resting my hand on his arm. He smiled down at me and pulled me into a hug. He thanked me again, but we were interrupted by Ashton walking in. He just rolled his eyes and walked past us to the fridge, taking out a beer.
"What's your deal?" Mike asked, softly chuckling. "Nothing" he mumbled. I just shrugged and grabbed my water. "I guess I should go upstairs and try to go to bed" I said, checking my phone for the time. 02:19. "I've given up on sleep" Michael shrugged. "Same here" I laughed, pushing my hair out of my face.
"Mike, when should we record Out Of My Limit?" Ashton asked. "What?" I asked, the name didn't sound familiar, so I assumed it was an original. "We were gonna have it be a surprise but now you know. We wrote a song" Michael said. "That's amazing!" I said excitedly. "Thanks" Mike laughed. "We're working on another one at the moment as well" Ashton added. "Well I'm excited to hear them" I smiled.
They're going to do great
The next morning I woke up about ten minutes after Amy. "Morning" she yawned. "Morning" I said quietly. "Your boyfriend stayed last night, he's probably downstairs" I told her as I sat up. "He's probably still asleep" she laughed, putting her phone down to stretch. "He could be cooking breakfast. Him and Ashton usually do whenever they stay over. It's surprisingly good" I joked. "I never knew he could cook. Well he made toast once and it got burnt" she said.
A few minutes later we walked downstairs and into the kitchen. "G'morning" Calum smiled at Amy as we walked into the kitchen. He was stood in front of the stove, wearing just shorts. "Damn" Amy laughed as she looked over at him. "Like what you see" he joked. "Obviously" she smiled. He took whatever he was cooking off of the stove and walked over. "What are you cooking?" Amy asked as he engulfed her in a hug. "That's for me to know, and for you to find out" he mumbled, resting his head on top of hers. "Stop you guys are too cute" I laughed.
Ashton walked in as we talked, wearing the same as Calum. I immediately looked down. Why does he have to be that attractive. That's not okay. "Morning" he said in his thick morning voice. When I looked back up he was stretching, showing off his chest and ab muscles. "Have some respect" Calum joked, covering my eyes. "It's fine, she likes it" Ash joked. "She does" Amy added. Although I couldn't see, I put my arm out and jokingly hit Amy on the shoulder. I finally pushed Calum's hand from over my eyes and glanced at Ashton.
