i met a venus fly trap once
i knew it was trouble
but i threw caution to the wind
like the dumb little fly i am
i took a quick break for a drink
in all my naivety
but one drink can turn into
one more drink
one more pill
and before you know it
you're addicted
before you know it
you're drugged
before you know it
you're being raped
before you know it
you're being used
so don't trust people
like we're perfect
because everyone has secrets
everyone is flawed
and there are venus fly traps
out there
and they will lure you in
with
lies
and
devour you
for supper!
