"W-What did I do?!" Xemnas asked, trying to calm her down.

He began vigorously rubbing her head which only made her cry even harder and messed up her hair. She was so confused and to make matters worse, traumatized by that stupid brain in the jar.

Vexen swatted his hand away from her head and glared. "She's a child, not a lamp! Stop rubbing her head like that!"

Xemnas groaned impatiently and begin patting her cheeks.

"Where's the off switch?!" He yelled.

"There IS no off switch!"

Xemnas couldn't take the loud wailing anymore and did the first thing that came to his mind. He took his hand and clamped it over her mouth, making her shut up.

"Finally..." He whispered, relieved.

The girl went wide eyed and looked awestruck as she stared at Xemnas. He glanced down at her and squinted his amber eyes at her.

"What?"

She carefully removed his hand from her mouth tugged him closer. Xemnas watched, confused, as the girl quickly latched her arms around his neck and gave a startled yelp when he felt her grip tighten.

"Wow, that looks tight grip she's got on you, Xemnas." Vexen said with amusement, watching as Xemnas tried prying her tiny arms from his neck.

"What theーget this thing off me! ItーI mean sheーwon't let go!" He said, beginning to panic.

She didn't say anything. Just kept holding onto him tighter. Xemnas pulled away from the operating table, and choked a little when the girl began to dangle from his neck. She quickly latched her legs around his waist so she wouldn't fall and nuzzled her head into his neck with a smile.

"Daddy!" She said.

Xemnas's "heart" stopped at that and he turned around to face Vexen who was clearly trying to hold in his laughter.

"W-Well, I guess y-you've got some explaining t-to do." He said, placing a hand over his mouth.

He just couldn't help it. Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII and Superior of the In Between. The guy who used to kick kittens for fun before he recruited Demyx and almost drowned when he kicked one in front of him. The guy who took on five different giant heartless in a day. The guy standing in front of him... is a daddy now? Oh, this is too rich! He thought, trying to suppress his laughter behind his hand. Xemnas glared at him and stalked out of the room.

Xemnas spent all day trying to get the girl off of him and tried to get some answers out of her, but both to no avail. All she did was giggle and call him "funny". And she wouldn't stop addressing him as "Daddy" either.

He was sitting on his bed with his head in his hands, feeling miserable, when there came a knock at his door.

"Come in..." He said, exhausted. The girl giggled and said, "Come in!" He shot his head up from his hands and sent her a look.

"Stop copying everything I say!"

"Stop copying everything I say!"

She was now latched on to his back and still wouldn't budge to Xemnas's dismay.

Axel stepped inside, looking bored, and said, "Saïx wanted me to call you to dinner. Why have you been holed up inー"

He stopped short when he realized the little girl on his back and bit back a laugh. Just like Vexen, Axel found the scene in front of him hilarious.
