* Leaving For VidCon *

" Paiton , are you all packed and ready ? Bethany's outside waiting for you " My mom yelled from downstairs . I was finishing up my hair and throwing a hoodie on . " Yes mom , I'm on my way down " I yelled back . I grabbed my bags and walked down the stairs . My mom was in her robe and had curlers in her hair since it was 2am . I dropped my bags and hugged her tightly . I hated leaving her by herself , ever since my dad died I felt like I had to help support and protect her just like he did . " Take care of yourself , okay ? " I breathed . She nodded and pulled away , before kissing my forehead . " I will . Go have fun , honey . But not too much fun if you know what I mean " She laughed slightly . I smiled and nodded . Then I grabbed my bags . " I'll see you soon , love you ! I'll call you every 3 nights or so " I said , before walking out of the door . I shoved my things in the trunk of Beth's car and got in the passengers seat . " You ready to go ? " She asked , with a huge smile . I nodded . She started the car and started to the airport .

We walked into the airport and walked through the scanner . After we collected our bags again , Bethany spoke . " We have to wait for Carter and the other guys to come since we got a private flight with them " I nodded and we sat down on our suitcases . I was so nervous about meeting everyone , especially Carter . I really hope I don't embarrass myself . After a few minutes of playing on my phone , we heard a group of boys walking towards up . I glanced at Bethany nervously . She smiled and stood up . I slid my phone in my back pocket and stood beside her . " Ayeeeee you ready for the flight ? " Cameron Dallas said , with a smile . Bethany and I smiled . " If you didn't know , I'm Nash " Nash Grier said to me , before pulling me into a hug . I giggled and hugged back . " Oh , I totally didn't know that millions of girls love you " I joked . He chuckled and pulled away . All of the guys introduced themselves to us , as we did too . The last person to was Carter . " I'm Carter Reynolds " He smiled , before sticking his hand out to me . " Paiton Jeffries " I smiled back , before grabbing his hand and shaking it . I felt sparks run through my hand and blushed , before looking down and pulling my hand away . Carter smiled slightly . " Aw , such a cute couple " Taylor Caniff grinned . I blushed harder and shook my head . All of the boys laughed this time . " Okay , we should get on the flight now " Bethany piped in . Everyone agreed . We all grabbed our bags and began walking . We didn't need tickets because everyone knew who we were . I walked beside Nash the whole entire time . Him and Matt would crack jokes , causing everyone to laugh .

We finally got in the plane . Me and Beth sat at the front of the plane . I got the window seat .

I put my suitcase in the holder that was above our heads and sat down with my carry on . I got my headphones out and put the bag between my feet . Suddenly , I felt a body sit beside me . I looked over and almost choked . It was Carter . " Hey , do you mind if I sit here ? " He asked . " No , I don't mind " I smiled . He smiled back and stared into my eyes . " Uhm , I was hoping that we could talk " He spoke quietly . I put my headphones away and turned towards him . " What do you wanna talk about ? " I asked . Carter shrugged . " Tell me about yourself " He said . I thought for a moment . " Well my full name is Paiton Lynn Jeffries , I'm 17 years old , my dad died in the army when I was 15 , I live with my mom in California , I'm single , my bestfriend is Bethany , and I'm a viner " I said . Carter took it all in and nodded . " I'm sorry about your dad " He said with sympathy . He told me about himself , which were facts that I already knew . We ended up talking for a long time , it was a nice conversation filled with laughter most of the time . Later after we both quieted down , I yawned and checked my phone . It was 5am . I looked over and saw Carter playing on his phone beside me . I smiled and closed my eyes , before drifting off . I felt him shift and kiss my cheek softly , sending sparks down my body . " Goodnight Paiton . I think I might be falling for you " He whispered , probably thinking I was asleep . I couldn't react , I was too tired . Soon , a deep sleep overcame my body and I drifted off .
