Chapter Nineteen

When my eyes locked on Madison and Sammy , my stomach began hurting . No , I didn't have a crush on him anymore . But the more I looked at his face , the more I remembered him yelling at him . I was really disappointed in him , moving on that fast I mean .

" Lets , uh , keep walking " I mumbled , squeezing Carter's hand a little bit . I looked over at him and he looked tense . His jaw was clenched and he looked angry . I squeezed his hand again and be both continued walking in silence .

As we walked in front of them , I met the gaze of Sammy . He looked upset seeing me with Carter , but I shrugged it off . I know Carter won't hurt me , he's way too sweet ..... or is he ?

Carter's POV

Paiton and I were walking in a peaceful silence , smiles on our faces and swinging our hands back and forth . But suddenly , she stopped walking and her smile vanished . Her eyes were locked in front of us . I looked over and saw Sammy and Madison swallowing eachothers faces . I tensed up , just by the possibility of Paiton still liking him .

" Lets , uh , keep walking " Paiton said quietly , giving my hand a squeeze . I ignored it and stared at Sammy . I didn't like him anymore because of what he said about me and how he yelled at Paiton . She doesn't need lies running through her head about her soon-to-be boyfriend . She squeezed my hand again and I instantly began walking again .

I really like Paiton , I think I'm in love with her . And seeing her get upset over a guy over than me & other than her family makes me upset . I know I should be comforting her right now but what am I suppose to do . Tell her not to worry about him ? That will only make her think of him more . I decided to brush it off and stay quiet . Maybe I'll just say something to her tonight .

We walked into the hotel room and saw all of the guys sitting on the floor & beds . JC was in the middle of everyone , reciting something off of his phone . I quietly shut the door and listened in .

" " Dear Viners and o2l crew ,

Tomorrow is the first day at VidCon Miami . There will be a lot of people in the stadium , so you'll need to be careful and make sure you're nice to everyone . I except you guys to be down at 11am . See you soon . - Manager " "

I smiled to myself . I finally get to meet a bunch of my beautiful fans . I know that tomorrow will be amazing , except for the part of being stuck in the same room as Madison & Sammy . I can only imagine how she will try to separate Paiton and I . I want to keep her safe from harm and I want her to have fun , but how will I do that with everyone watching ?

Paiton's POV

We walked back in and JC was having some type of lecture . I checked the time on my phone . 7:30pm . Only 30 minutes to get ready and go to the studio with the guys . I grabbed a pair of leggings and a comfortable croptop , then walked to the bathroom . I changed into them and removed all of my makeup , then threw my hair up in a messy bun . My stomach still hurt , so I decided to rest before we drove there . I popped an Advil into my mouth and walked out of the bathroom .

All of the other guys went back to their rooms , leaving Matt , Carter , Nash , Cam , and Shawn all on their phones . I walked over to my bed and laid down slowly , before closing my eyes and exhaling deeply . I honestly didn't know why I reacted the way I did when I saw Sammy and Madison . She was probably planning this whole thing to start an affair between Carter and I . But when I looked at Sammy swallowing her face , it made me sick . He was ' madly in love ' with me just a few hours ago and now he's moved on to Madison . He's a good guy and I have a bad feeling that he's getting used .

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Carter jumped on the bed . My stomach shifted and I groaned loudly , clenching my jaw . He stopped and looked at me , concerned . " Are you okay babe ? " He asked , scooting over to me . I nodded my head and closed my eyes again . " Yeah , just a little queasy I guess " I whispered . He laid down beside me and took his hat and sunglasses off . I wrapped an arm around his stomach and lay my head on his chest . Carter stroked my hair gently and brushed stray pieces of my hair out of my face . " I'm just gonna take a nap before we leave " I mumbled slowly . He lay a kiss on my forehead and whispered . " I love you " I was too tired to respond . My eyelids got heavy and soon , I drifted off into a deep sleep .
