Carter's POV
Taylor and Paiton acting like a couple hurt a lot . I was so jealous because , yes I'm still in love with Paiton . I think she's just confused about everything .. like me .
I watched them walk hand in hand to the back room & I had a bad feeling that they were gonna do something they'd regret .
So , I followed them . By the time i got there , the door was shut & I had to crack it open in order to see . A wave of relief hit me when I saw that they were just talking , or should I say venting - about me .
Paiton was obviously upset with me . The tears welling in her eyes were one thing but the words that were coming out of her mouth were another .
She thought that I didn't care about her . That I just wanted to lead her on and then leave , like I have been doing . But the truth is , I care about Paiton more than I care for myself . But with Deb in the picture , I can't bear to leave her .
My heart sunk as I watched Paiton start bawling while Taylor held her . I knew I was in a lot of shit but all I was worried about was her . I sighed . Stupid .
My phone began buzzing in my pocket , so I quickly silenced it and looked who texted me .. Deb .
Hey cutie , where'd you go ? Everyone wants to see you .. including me 😏
I rolled my eyes and texted back .
Im in the bathroom , I'll be there soon .
I slid my phone back in my pocket and looked back up through the crack . Taylor and Paiton were kissing . I pressed my lips together .
There was nothing I could do now , they were falling for eachother already . But I do need to make things right .
