Chapter Twenty Nine

Deborah's POV

I stormed out of the room and made my way to the family bathroom , sliding down against the wall . Paiton is such a bitch and so are her gay friends . She thinks she'll all tough when she can't even defend herself .

I scoffed at my thought .

' But who is good a seeking revenge ? ' I smirks . Madison . I quickly grabbed my phone and texted her .

We need to ruin Paiton . Big time .

I locked my phone and slid it back in my pocket . " Deb ? " A familiar voice asked from the hallway , getting closer and closer . It was Carter . I quickly made myself look upset and made myself cry .

Carter walked in and looked down at me , his face softening . He knelt down next to me and wiped my eyes . " Are you okay ? " He asked . I shook my head and looked down at the floor .

He sighed , before standing up . He let his hand down to me , so I grabbed it and stood up . We stared into eachothers eyes for a moment , before Carter leaned towards my cheek .

I saw someone in the corner of my eye . It looked like Paiton , so I quickly turned my head so his lips would crash into mine .

And they did .

Paiton's POV

It was a few minutes after Carter and Deborah left , I was just hanging out and talking to Joey . All of a sudden , he stopped talking and just stared at me .

" What ? " I asked , furrowing my eyebrows . He sighed . " Deborah may have deserved to be slayed but you should apologize to her . And to Carter " He said .

I laughed . What kind of joke is this ? I shouldn't be the one apologizing to either of them . Joey grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly .

" Go " He said . I rolled my eyes and stood up , before trotting out of the room . Joey is such a saint .

I continued searching rooms when I saw two people in the bathroom . I hid behind the wall and peaked my head over to look . My stomach churned in anger , sadness , and disappointment .

Deb and Carter . They were staring at eachother and then a split second later they were kissing - and Carter didn't pull back either . I watched in anger as they made out quietly , before going back behind the wall .

I clenched my jaw and ran a hand through my hair . He's done this once before with her already and it's already getting old . I really have to try and move on .

Or make things even .

Carter's POV

I pulled away from Deborah and smiled . She's so beautiful . There was a weird feeling in my stomach but I brushed it off .

Deb wrapped her arms. around my neck and rested her forehead against mine . " So what does this make us ? " She asked sweetly .

I smiled . " Whatever you want us to be " I blurted out . Well good going Carter , you didn't even think about it . Deborah's smile widened .

" I guess we're dating then , babe " She said , pressing her lips against mine . I kissed back .

No , she wasn't Paiton . But she filled my craving of her .
