Warning: There are some triggering parts in this chapter so please be cautious. If you feel triggered please don't read. And if anyone ever needs to talk I'm here.

"Calum wake up. Calum wakey wakey." I whispered trying to get the sleeping boy to wake up but he was barely stirring. We only have 10 mintues until the sun came up and I didn't want Caljm to miss the sunrise.

"Calum!" I whispered a little harsher and his brown eyes opened wide in panic. He sat up straight in the bed and looked around the still dark room like something was after him. He took one last deep breath and looked at me with confused eyes.

"Come on." I encouraged him to get out of bed and come out to the balcony with me. He rolled his eyes, threw off the covers and followed me outside. The early morning air was chilled but of course Calum had on his sweat shirt and I made sure to dress accordingly. On the balcony table was a pot of coffee two cups and two bowls with cereal and milk ready to be made. Calum narrowed his eyes at the table then to me like he couldn't believe I woke him up before the sun, just to eat breakfast.

"I thought that we'd have breakfast while the sun came up this morning." I shurgged and urged Calum to sit, he did so with a large exhale. I poured his cereal and milk into his bowl then his coffee and handed him the bowl of fruit loops. I poured my cereal and coffee, taking a seat across from Calum. He was stirring his breakfast with weary hands like the food was poisonous and I wasted no time digging into mine.

"Calum, you haven't eaten anything since we got here." I said and Calum looked up at me with wide eyes, like maybe I wasn't supposed to notice he's been skipping meals. He shrugged and attempted to take a bite of the food but it look like it pained him to do so. He took a few slow bites then sat the bowl back on the table to retrieve his coffee. He sipped the hot liquid slowly with his lips wrapped around the cup.

I don't even want to explain the dirty thoughts running through my mind in that moment and I chose to avert my eyes elsewhere. Calum let out deep sigh and when I finally gathered up the composure to look at him, he was staring at me with eyes longing for explanation. He raised his eyebrows and gestured his hand to the citrus sunrise for me to explain what was so special about watching the sun come up.

"I just always loved the rising sun I guess. I usually get up to watch it and it gets me pumped for the day." I explained and realized that is probably sounded stupid. When Calum let out a small laugh I knew I sounded stupid.

"Shut up Cal." I laughed and shook my head because I sounded even more stupid for telling Calum to shut up. He shook his head at me and took another sip of his coffee. Things were silent now and I couldn't help but notice Calum staring at the morning sky with a small smile on his lips.

"Are you doing open mic tonight?" I asked out of curiousty and Calum shook his head no.

"Not even if I help you?" I asked and his head turned quickly to look at me. I smirked at him making him roll his eyes and he gave me a shrug.

"You shrug a lot." I teased and Calum reached over to slap my head but I moved away before he could make contact. "Is that a yes?" I giggled and Calum nodded in defeat.

"Yay! Any songs in mind?" I asked and he shook his head. Once the sun was completely up I cleaned up our little breakfast mess and we headed back inside. Luke and Ashton were already getting ready and Calum headed straight for the shower. I changed my clothes and made my bed but Calum was still in the bathroom. The other boys were too busy playing on their cellphones to notice so I decided to check on Cal. I knocked on the door but there was no response.

"Cal are you okay?" I asked knocking for a second time and this time the door swung open with an irritated looking Calum. He had on jeans and his hoodie and glared at me for a second before walking around me, hitting my shoulder on his way by.
