It's been a week since I ranaway. Napabuntong hininga ako habang tinatanggal ang dahon ng malunggay. Wala pa akong nahahanap na pwede kong asawahin. Kung hindi ko type, mukhang hindi naman mapapagkatiwalaan ang mga prospect nila Boy.
"Kuya Acis!" rinig kong sigaw ni Boy sa labas.
Nagpanting naman ang tenga ko. Naiinis ako sa lalaking yun sa pagrereject niya sa'kin. No guys have ever rejected me like that. My pride got hurt because it took me a lot of courage to ask him to marry me.
"Oh iho, ano sa'tin?" I heard Nay Rosi asked.
"Si Shanella Nay." he answered.
Automatic naman na napatayo ako at lumabas. Napahinto ako saglit, bat parang excited ka Shane? Tsk. Napailing nalang ako sa sarili.
"Yes?" I raised my brows and crossed my arms while leaning on the door.
He smirked when he saw me and went near. Napaayos tuloy ako ng tayo.
"Gusto kitang makausap." Sabi niya.
Woah! Did he finally realize na masyado akong sayang? Na bakit nireject niya ako ng ganun-ganun lang?
Ha! I'm so pretty! The little devil inside my head flipped her hair.
"Sa loob na kayo mag-usap" utos ni Nay Rosi kaya pumasok kami.
"So.. anong pag-uusapan natin?" tanong ko. Alam ko kung anong pag-uusapan namin. I just want to ask.
"About your offer."
I smirked at the back of my mind and nakipag apir kay little devil. I know right!
"What about it? As far as I remember, you already rejected me." I should play hard to get. He hurt my pride so dapat lang. Tss!
"I've been thinking to accept your offer and I have conditions but it seems like ayaw mo na akong mapangasawa so we don't have anything to talk about." Tumayo na siya at aakmang aalis but I immediately stop him. Gosh! Bat siya pahard to get? Napakapabebe naman!
"Stop. Sit. Wag kang hard to get please." Sabi ko. He smirked.
I am controlling my temper right now. Gusto kong mainis ng todo pero naisip ko, may kailangan ako sa kanya kaya magpakabait muna ako.
Akala mo kung sinong gwapo. Ugh!
Umupo na siya ulit.
"What are your conditions, then?" sumeryoso na ang mukha niya.
"Simple lang naman. I don't need your money. I need you."
Kumunot ang noo ko at tinaasan siya ng kilay. Ginagaya niya ba ako? Tss. This jerk!
"What do you mean?" I asked while raising my left brow at him.
"Act as my real wife. Ibig sabihin nito na titira tayo sa iisang bahay at gagawin mo anong dapat gingawa ng isang maybahay."
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at napatayo.
"ANO?! NABABALIW KA NA BA?" Sigaw ko.
Ayoko sa kondisyon niya. Para ko narin siyang totoong asawa kung ganon! I just need his name!
"Kung may baliw man dito, ikaw yun. You offered a crazy proposal so I'll offer a crazier condition." he crossed his arms after saying that. I narrowed my eyes at him.
"But I don't want to be married to you forever, dude. We'll file divorce after a year. We don't have to act like a real married couple."
"As long as you're here, you're committed to me so you should act as my real wife."
"But I don't want to touch, hug or even kiss you!" yun yung inaalala ko. Kasi kung totoong mag-asawa kami, I should also do that right? Or am I wrong?
"Wow." he said amused. "I never really think about that but come to think of it, ikaw ang nakaisip baka gusto mong gawin yan?" he smirked.
So annoying, so annoying! The little devil is slowly choking him inside my head.
"Don't worry about that thing. We'll only do that if it's needed."
Napakunot noo ako sa sinabi niya. So gagawin pa din namin?
"I also need someone na ipakilala sa mga grandparents ko that's why I need you." He explained.
Why does he need someone na ipakilala sa grandparents niya? It's not like mayaman siya? Or mayaman ba siya? Anyway, it doesn't matter.
"And also, we need to make people believe that we're real."
I sighed in defeat. I don't want to admit it but he has a point. Baka kung kahit kasal na ako, Mommy will do everything para mapawalang bisa. Kaya I need to make them believe that I love this guy.
"Fine." I agreed.
"So... when will be our wedding?" he asked.
"As soon as possible." seryosong sabi ko.
Hindi na kailangang patagalin pa dahil pumayag na naman siya.
"The day after tomorrow. Aasikasuhin ko ang mga papeles."
"Okay."
Ikakasal na talaga ako, for real.
