Epilogue

Hinila na ako ni Acis palabas ng simbahan at sumakay kami sa sasakyan niya.

“Oh eto na pala ang prinsesa!” sabi ni Tonyo.

I just smiled at him and faced Acis. Ngumingisi siya ngayon. How I missed that one!

“Acis…” tawag ko.

Nilagay niya ang hintuturo niya sa labi ko to stop me from talking.

“I know what you are going to say.” Sabi niya.

Pinaningkitan ko siya ng mata. “Hmmm… Pwes, ano dapat ang sasabihin ko?”

“That I’m the most handsome man living in this world because the Goddess Shanella chose me.”

I smirked at him. Grabe! Dapat talaga akong maging masaya dahil may isang Acis na nahulog sa’kin. Of course, who wouldn’t right?

“I love you Francis Gavin Alvez.” Sabi ko.

Napakagat siya sa labi niya habang ngumingisi. “Kinikilig ako Shane! Sarap pala nun sa ears!”

Natawa ako sa sinabi niya.

“I love you more Shane” He said then kissed me passionately.

“Naks! Shet! Ang daming langgam!”

Napabitaw kami ni Acis sa isa’t isa. Damn! nandito pala si Tonyo.

Pero hindi namin siya pinansin. Acis hugged me and I hugged him back. The best place for me is inside his warm hug.

ACIS PoV

Sometimes the best love happened unexpectedly.

Hindi ko inakalang ang babaeng bigla akong hinalikan sa bar ay magiging kabiyak ko pala ngayon.

I watched her as she beautifully walked on the aisle.

I closed my eyes. I wish it isn’t a dream. I opened my eyes again.

“Boss, this is it. Hindi na ito fake! Dalandan na! real na real!” bulong ni Tonyo sa tabi ko.

Siniko ko lang siya at nagfocus na ulit sa nag-iisang babaeng paglalaanan ko ng puso’t kaluluwa ko.

Malakas ang tibok ng puso ko habang papalapit ang pinakamamahal ko. Shit! kinakabahan ako, runaway bride pa naman ito.

“Take care of our daughter Francis.” Sabi ng Papa niya at binigay ang kamay ni Shanella sa’kin.

“I will take care and love her with all my heart ma’am, Sir.” Sabi ko.

Inirapan lang ako ng Mama niya but I just smiled at her anyway. Baka makuha sa tingin si Mama.

Nang sinabi namin sa kanila na magpapakasal kami, ayaw pumayag ng Mama niya but wala siyang nagawa kasi pumayag ang Papa ni Shane and matigas ang ulo ni Shane kaya ganun. Well, blessing in disguise ang pagka matigas na ulo ng asawa ko.

“Yong ngisi mo hindi makukuha si Mama sa ganyan.” Bulong ng asawa ko.

Iginiya ko siya patungong altar. “Makukuha din yan si MAMA.” Sabi ko at kinindatan siya.

Nginisihan lang din ako ng maganda kong asawa.

I'm so grateful that Shane came into my life. She gave meaning tk my life. She's the girl I ever need and wanted. I love her so much.

"You are the most beautiful person in my life, Shane. You make my world beautiful just like you. You're all I ever need and I ever wanted. I promised to love your flaws and imperfections. All of you, Shane. If you'll runaway again, I'll runaway with you. If you'll runaway because of me, I will chase you but of course I won't let that happened because I love you."

Pinunasan ko muna ang luhang tumulo sa mga mata niya bago ako magpatuloy. She slapped my hand and she chuckled.

"My make up!" she whispered kaya natawa ako. Hinawakan ko ulit ang kamay niya.

"With this ring as a symbol of my love, I promised you, from this day forward, to have and to hold, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish. Till death do us part." dahan dahan kong isinuot sa daliri niya ang singsing.

I saw her smile and I smiled too.

"Acis, I never thought that I will fall in love with you. One day, I just found myself getting comfortable when your around, laughing at your corny jokes, and wanting to see your smile everyday. You make me happy and you make me feel loved. I never regret running away and breaking rules because I found you. I found my happiness in you. I promised I will never runaway from you, I will stay with you forever because I love you."

Napapunas din ako sa mga mata. Damn! I am so happy that I can't contained my happiness. I still can't believe that she's infront of me saying her vows.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you:
MR. AND MRS. FRANCIS ALVEZ!

Acis, you may now kiss your wife.”

Nakangisi kong itinaas ang belo ni Shane.

“I love you Shanella Marquez-Alvez.”

“I love you too Francis Gavin Alvez.”

Then I kissed her passionately in front of God and of people.
