"So he just stared at you the entire time?" Laura asked, a shocked expression on her face.
"Well only after the argument scene, but yes," I nodded, taking another bite of my cheese burger.
"Well I have to see this guy in person, one can only imagine how much better looking he must be in person to catch Clara Husher's attention," She sighed with a wistful look in her eyes.
"Oh come on," I argued. "It's not like I've never talked about a guy before."
"Clara in the entire time I've known you we have never talked about a guy or a girl the way you are talking about Jasper Crowley right now," she flatly stated.
"Yea well I'm talking about him because he's a narcissistic thick mined arse," I scoffed.
"Keep telling yourself that, but you won't be able to deny your feelings for long," she smirked.
"I have no feelings, except annoyance," I huffed.
"Yea well that's only cause he's the first guy who hasn't thrown himself at your feet just to get a piece of your fame," Laura shrugged.
"Well I will admit I much prefer Jasper to those guys," I chuckled. "But trust me I would know if I had feelings for Jasper."
"And how would you know?" Laura asked. "You've never had feelings for anyone."
"I just haven't met the right guy yet," I argued.
"Yea but at least date around why you wait," she insisted. "Have you seen all the articles they write about how lonely you are?"
"Ugh you read too much teen vogue," I groaned.
"I do not!" she gasped. "I read those articles in people magazine for your information."
"Whatever," I scoffed, throwing a chip at her.
"Speaking of articles what time is your interview?" Laura asked.
"Crap!" I exclaimed popping out of my seat. "I completely forgot about that."
"Well bye then!" Laura called after me as I ran out of the restaurant.
I reached my interview in record time and was immediately cleaned up by the makeup artists before I was sat down in front of the women who would be interviewing me.
"So Clara, whats it like to be back on broadway after all this time?" she asked as soon as she was done introducing me.
"The only word I can use to describe it is spectacular," I grinned. "I've always loved the theatre and being a part of it is an indescribable feeling."
"And what about your fellow cast members?" she asked. "Do they welcome you with open arms, or are they more confused about why you would come back after being involved in film?"
"They welcomed me with arms opened as far as they could stretch," I chuckled. "They are such amazing people and they make me feel so at home and at ease in that theatre, they are all so amazing and I cannot speak highly enough about them."
"Well I hear you've also got another new person you're working with now as well, how about your endorsement with Crowley Industries? This is your first endorsement, yes?"
"Yes it is my first endorsement. We actually had the first photo shoot for their ads two days ago, so be sure to keep an eye out for that, other than that there isn't much to say other than I'll be doing a lot of traveling with them and be sure to look for me at all the big events their CEO is invited to," I winked.
"Speaking of the CEO, Jasper Crowely," she started. "One of the photos from the shoot leaked and I must say, you two are quite the duo."
I looked up at the screen and was met with the photo of Jasper sitting on the bike while I leaned against him.
