"Here we are," Jasper stated dragging me into the store.

I immediately began looking through the racks of dresses, trying to find the perfect one for tonight, I didn't even notice I was still holding Jasper's hand until I reached for a dress and ended up dragging his hand with me too.

"Oh sorry," I sheepishly apologized before dropping his hand and continuing my search for dresses, ignoring how cold my hand was now.

After about thirty minutes of coming up empty a young girl who looked to be around seventeen approached us.

"Umm sorry to bother you, but are you Clara Husher?" she asked.

"Oh you're not bothering me, yes I am Clara, did you want a photo?" I asked.

"No I just wanted the chance to say hi, I'm Brielle," she said holding her hand out for me to shake.

I quickly studied her with a quizzical look on her face, in my experience it's very rare to meet a fan who simply wanted to say hi.

"Well Brielle, it is very nice to meet you," I grinned. "I notice you seem to have very good fashion sense, would you like to help me pick out a dress?"

"Really?" she asked an expression of disbelief on her face. "The popular girls at school always make fun of my clothes."

"They're probably just jealous," I assured her. "So is that a yes?"

"Of course!" she exclaimed.

"Okay then, I have to find a dress for a gala tonight, but I don't want anything floor length, I also don't want it all come above my knees, I feel like that would be too short for an event like this."

"How fancy does this event have to be?" she asked already poking through rows of dresses.

"It's fancy but I wouldn't suggest sparkles for this kind of thing," Jasper answered once I turned to him with a puzzled look.

"I think I just saw a couple dresses you would look great in," she smirked, walking around for about fifteen minutes before returning with three dresses.

"Try these on," she demanded ushering me into the dressing room.

The first two dresses were beautiful, but weren't exactly what I had in mind, I had high hopes for the third though, considering it was lilac which happened to be one of my favorite colors.

As soon as I put it on I knew it was a winner. The soft material of the skirt that puffed out a tad and reached down to my shins matched perfectly with the v-neck top with thick straps, it was simple but still allowed me to stand out in a crowd.

"You're a genius!" I exclaimed, coming out of the dressing room and twirling.

"It looks amazing on you!" she grinned, looking as if she was going to start jumping up and down.

"What do you think Jasper?" I asked, turning to face the man who's eyes gave away his shock.

"It's uh, nice," he simply stated, quickly erasing the look of shock from his face.

"Well this is the one," I stated going back inside to change back into my normal clothes.

When I emerged from my dressing room Jasper was once again on his phone and Brielle was once again looking through the dresses.

"So Brielle what do you plan on doing when you graduate?" I asked slowly approaching her.

"Oh I've already graduated, I'm just taking a gap year before I go off to college," she explained.
