Once I arrived home I found Marissa standing in my living room along with some hair and and makeup stylists.

"Marissa... what is this?" I asked cautiously entering the room.

"We're here to get you ready for tonight," she answered. "We all know if we weren't here you wouldn't do anything to help that curly mess on your head."

"I happen to like my curly mess," I mumbled.

"We know dear, but sometimes it gets out of hand," Marissa said lightly sitting me in the chair they already had set up so they could get to work.

While the stylists did their job Marissa did hers by reading of my timetable for the coming week and reminding me of my trip to Tokyo in two weeks.

"Ugh why does everything have to happen so fast," I groaned.

"Because everyone these days are impatient," Marissa replied.

Once the stylists were done with my hair and makeup I was finally able to watch an episode of Hawaii 5-0, which I had been looking forward to all day.

"Where'd you get this dress?" Marissa asked, walking out of my room with my dress in her hands.

"I got it from the dress store Jasper's company owns," I shrugged.

"So you guys are on first name basis now?" she smirked, sitting on the couch next to me.

"So?" I asked, giving her a suspicious glance.

"Nothing," she said standing up. "I would get changed now if I were you, someone will be here to pick you up soon."

"Okay," I nodded getting off the couch.

"Have fun tonight," Marissa said before leaving the house.

I quickly changed into my dress for the night before throwing on a pair of nude heels and some gold earrings paired with the golden quarter necklace my brother bought for me during his travels.

When he sent me the necklace he also sent a letter telling the story about the man he met in Hawaii who made his living finding quarters and cutting them so all that's left is the rim and the designs that gave away which state the quarter is from.

When I heard the doorbell ring I quickly grabbed my nude clutch and rushed to the door.

I was taken by surprised when I opened the door and was met with a man I had never seen before in my life.

"I assume you're Ms. Husher," he said, holding out his hand for me to shake. "I'm Bradley, and I'll be your driver tonight."

I looked behind him and noticed the sleek black limo Jasper usually drives in, I felt a soft smile come to my face and allowed myself to be led to the car where Bradley opened the door so I could enter.

The first thing I noticed was a dashing looking Jasper wearing a formal suite and tie. It was hard to believe, but somehow he looked even more put together than on the other occasions I had seen him.

"You look good," I smirked, deciding it was better to be bold than act as if I hadn't noticed.

"You don't look to bad yourself," he said, his stare lingering longer than it needed to.

"Oh come on admit it," I pressed.

"Admit what?" he asked, an amused expression taking over his face.

"That I take your breath away with my good looks," I stated smugly.

"I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm breathing perfectly fine."
