"I'm still jealous you get to do all this traveling," Laura sighed as she laid down on my bed.
"Why, It's not like I'm doing it for my own pleasure," I argued.
"Yes but since you're not actually sitting in hours worth of business meetings you'll have time to explore, he's already told you he has a meeting the first day and the rest is simply just waiting for it to go through and small get togethers hosted by the other company," she said.
"I suppose your right," I shrugged.
"Be sure to send lots of pictures," she demanded going back to folding the clothes I was bringing.
I decided to pack some simple things like jeans and t-shirts, but the other half of my clothing was nicer things like skirts, blouses, dresses, and more jeans that weren't as cut up. I also threw in a swimsuit along with a jumper, sneakers, and two pairs of heels.
"You sure do pack a lot," Laura commented as I sat on my bag in an attempt to close it.
"Well I don't like being in professional clothing all the time which means I'll have to change multiple times," I quickly explained as the doorbell rang.
"That must be the pizza," Laura stated perking up. "I'll go get in."
"Thank God, I'm famished," I huffed as I finally got my bag closed.
"So when are you leaving tomorrow?" Laura asked as she walked back into my room.
"Four in the morning," I shrugged.
"FOUR IN THE MORNING!," she yelled, eyes bulging. "That's insane!"
"It's not that bad," I shrugged. "I can sleep on the plane."
"Still, you're insane for letting him drag you to the airport that early," she scoffed referring to Jasper.
"Well he has to be there in time for the meeting," I reasoned.
"Whatever, just get over here and fatten up that tight stomach of yours," Laura chucked opening the box of pizza.
One box of Pizza and two movies later Laura left so I could get some sleep, but I just stayed up with a bunch of blankets wrapped around me on the couch as I watched nearly all of the Harry Potter movies.
At three o'clock I was in the middle of the fifth movie when I decided to quickly get changed before Drake came to pick me up.
I decided to keep it simple with mom jeans that I rolled up a couple time and a short red tank top, I quickly grabbed a pair of blurred checkered slip on Vans and a sweatshirt before grabbing my bags and going outside to meet Drake.
"Good morning Drake," I smiled sweetly helping him put my bags in the car.
"Good morning Miss Husher," he replied a little less perky.
"I got your favorite," I said holding out the Carmel Iced coffee I made for him the night before and left in my fridge.
"You are the best employer I have ever had," he chuckled taking the coffee.
"You're too kind," I said climbing into the front seat.
Forty minutes later we were arriving at the airport where Drake led me over to the area meant for people who would be taking private jets.
"Thank you Drake, I can take it from here," I told him once I spotted Jasper.
"You sure Miss?" he asked.
"Yes, now go enjoy time with your family," I chuckled giving him a quick hug.
With that I took my bags and made my way over to Jasper who was busy on his laptop.
