Clara's POV:
The next morning I woke up with my head pressed into Jasper's chest, and his arms wrapped tightly around me. Any other day I would have been happy to enjoy the warmth and comfort of his embrace, but on this particular morning I had the intense urge to pee.
"Jasper," I whispered, poking his belly in an attempt to wake him up.
"Common Jasper I gotta pee," I whined.
After a few more attempts at waking him up I decided to result to more drastic methods and found the courage to kiss him, to which he immediately replied by smiling against my lips and pulling me closer.
"You were totally awake the whole time!" I gasped, pulling away.
"I was just waiting for you to wake me up my new favorite way," he smirked, capturing my lips again.
"That's sweet, but now its time for me to pee," I said as I quickly wiggled out of his grasp and ran to the bathroom.
When I returned I was surprised to find that Jasper hadn't taken the opportunity to take out his laptop, and instead he was sitting up in the bed reading Harry Potter.
"You've really taken a liking to that series haven't you?" I observed, lying next to him on the bed.
"It's really good," he shrugged.
"Who's your favorite character?"
"I would have to go with Hermione."
"Oh well that's an obvious one."
"What do you mean?" He questioned, putting the book down and facing me.
"I mean, it's obvious that you would like Hermione best because you're both workaholics," I explained.
"I am not a workaholic!" He pouted.
"You are too!" I exclaimed. "You're always on that computer!"
"I'm not on it now," he defended.
"Okay true, but I bet you couldn't go a full day without being on it."
"I could too!"
"Then prove it!"
"And how would I do that?" He challenged.
"Take me out on a date," I stated. "Make it a day long event."
"Well alright then," he nodded, quickly pecking me on the lips and getting out of bed. "Get your clothes on, because your date starts now."
Letting out a child like giggle I quickly grabbed my suitcase and retreated to the bathroom where I quickly put on a little bit of eyeliner and mascara before changing into a simple white skirt and a pink sweater and pairing it with a mating pair of white doc martins.
When I finally left the bathroom Jasper was sitting on the bed pulling on a pair of boots to match his casual look of a white t-shirt and jeans.
"Wow, I don't think I've ever seen you so dressed down to go outside before," I commented.
"Yea well, I figured there's no way I'll be doing any business while we're here so I just didn't bring any nice clothes," he shrugged.
"Well I like this look," I said, running my fingers through his hair to give it more of messy look.
I felt bad skipping out on breakfast and leaving my parents alone on my first day being with them, but seeing my mom's face light up with joy when I told her where we were going out for a date all my guilt vanished.
"So where are we going first?" I asked as we loaded ourselves into Jasper's car.
"Well I am in desperate need of coffee and I saw a interesting little cafe on our way here, so I figured that would be our first stop."
"Sounds spectacular," I grinned.
After a relatively short drive Jasper pulled over in front of a cute little cafe that had walls upon walls of old worn books.
"This place is so cute!" I gushed, looking around in awe as we made our way to a table in the corner right next to a bookshelf.
"I knew you would like it," Jasper smirked.
I turned my attention to the shelf next to me and immediately found a copy of Pride and Prejudice which I promptly pulled out and opened to one of my favorite parts.
"What book is that?" Jasper questioned, scooting closer to me so that he could look over my shoulder at the words.
"Pride and Prejudice," I responded. "It's my favorite book of all time."
"What's so special about it?"
"Only that it's the best romance story of all time! And it's one of the original hate turns to love stories."
"So kind of like us then?" He thought aloud, making my stomach flutter.
"Well I wouldn't say I hated you," I scoffed rolling my eyes.
"You gave me way too many angry speeches when we first met for you to not hate me," he pointed out.
"Okay well maybe just a little bit," I admitted, rolling my eyes. "But only because you were a complete asshole!"
"Well to be fair, when a girl makes me spill hot coffee on myself and then refuses to tell me who she is I tend to get a little pissed off," he shrugged.
"Spoken like a true self coincided man," I teased.
"I am not self coincided!"
"Are too!'' I laughed. "You automatically assumed the paparazzi were there for you and you were completely flabbergasted when those girls asked you to take a picture of us!"
"Okay well in my defense, when the paparazzi are in the same place I am they usually are there for me."
"Okay I suppose that's a fair argument," I agreed.
We sat in the cafe and continued to bicker for a bit before finally decided we have had enough breakfast time and were ready to move on to the next thing.
After walking aimlessly for a while, talking about nothing in particular we stumbled upon a little farmers market set up to look like a little Christmas town.
We spent about an hour there looking at all the little booths hand and hand before my eyes caught hold of an engraving station and an idea suddenly popped into my head.
"Hey Jasper? Could you go get me a hot chocolate? They smell heavenly!" I asked, turning to Jasper and batting my eyelashes.
"Of course, I'll be right back," he nodded before reluctantly letting go of my hand and going to get the hot chocolate.
The second his back was turned I immediately rushed over to the engraving station and told the lady want I wanted and making arrangements to pick it up on later that day before turning back and meeting Jasper with the hot chocolate.
"So seeing as we've already explored this whole place and I'm starving, what do you say we go grab some lunch?" Jasper suggested as he handed me my hot chocolate.
"That sounds perfect!" I agreed, taking his hand to walk back to the car, happy that I finally found a perfect gift for Jasper.
