Back At Home: Chapter 29

Juanpa's POV

We sang some karaoke on the drive home, enjoying the sound of music in our ears. When we arrived home, we unpacked our belongings and laid on the couch. Both of us had gotten enough sleep but we were both exhausted.

"I'm taking a nap, right here, right now." I said, getting comfortable. Lele snuggled up next to me and we fell asleep.

I had a dream. Lele and I were walking around in the park when I noticed everybody with a pet. In with as odd as dreams get, I blinked and Lele and I were at the animal shelter. We got a puppy and adored it, but, as I blinked again, it became a monster. I was hiding, but it found me, oversized and shedding hair into my face...

My dream ended there. Lele's blond locks had set me off. She was still asleep so I rested my eyes until she woke. "We should get a dog." I said, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Well that was out of nowhere, but okay?" Lele said with a laugh. "Maybe tomorrow." We has a snack and I checked the time. It was 4 o'clock.

It was 4 hours later from when the author became lazy, and Lele and I were laying in bed watching TV. I really want a dog :).
