Juanpa's POV

At first, I felt slight relief.

Now, I feel slight regret. No, major regret.

I felt so bad about it, I went to a bar I found. This never usually happened, but it did. I was a puzzle and Lele was my missing piece. My piece was gone.

I sat on the stool closest to the door and ordered a Coors Light. Most of the time, people around the world acted like drinking alcohol solved their problems, so I decided to try it.

I sipped on the toxic drink and cringed. Not really.

"Hey," A familiar voice rang through my head. "What do you want here?" Jack asked.

I slowly turned my head to look at him. "Why do you care?" I replied and took another drink. "You and Lele, huh?" Jack said. He was beginning to get on my nerves.

"Bad circumstances," I replied, and looked away. "Leave me alone."

"Sorry solitary man, but this is just dude-to-dude talk," He said.

I looked at him with disgust. "You're the reason we broke up," I scolded. "I treated her so... horribly." "Just please," Jack said. "Forgive me. I got jealous too."

Lele's POV

"Thanks for helping me again!" I told Hannah and Twan as they lay breathing hard on my new gray couch. "I appreciate it."

"Anything for you baby," Hannah said with a deep breath. "We might as well get going," Twan said. "Come eat at our house, you don't have food. Hannah and I will go shopping with you tomorrow."

I smiled and followed them out to their apartment. I thanked them again before digging into the roast Twan made previously that day and felt grateful.

I opened my eyes. Crickets chirping rang through my ears. I sat up, recalling the night before. Hannah, Twan, and I had a few beers, and I stumbled back to my apartment, falling onto the couch and passing out.

I got up and went to the bathroom, undressing and getting into the shower. After I was done, I dressed and flopped onto the couch again, turning on my phone.

At that moment, Hannah busts through the door and screamed. "Wait, was my door unlocked?" I asked. She shook her head and showed me a key. "Here it is, it's yours." She said and tossed me it. "Let's go shopping."

Twan was driving the car, Hannah in the passenger seat and me behind Twan. "Sorry for kind of... you know... third wheeling." I said. "Luis is asleep so my bae isn't available." Twan chuckled, but the art became silent again.

My phone buzzed.
