Dang Potholes: Chapter 46

Lele's POV

I sat in my car warming up and checking my notifications before leaving. I told Hannah I would go out and get some things so se wouldn't worry. It was about 11:30, and I had a sweet tooth, so I drove to Dylan's Candy Store. They make the price by the weight, so I grabbed a handful of everything and stuffed it into a plastic bag.

I took it up to the cashier and paid for the treats. I put them in my passenger seat and spotted H&M next to me.

My name is Lele Pons and I cannot resist my favorite stores.

I was shopping past 2:00 and when I got back into my car, I was dazed. I pulled into a 24 hour gas station and made sure it was free parking. I went inside and bought toothpaste and a toothbrush, along with a hairbrush, changed into pajamas I bought and cleaned up my hygiene.

When I was done, I went back out my car, made a bed out of the clothes I bought, and quickly fell asleep.

I woke up to a horn sound. I pulled my phone to my face and checked the time. 10:46. 8 cool hours of sleep. I purchased a water bottle at the gas station, drove to IHop and had pancakes, and went on my way home.

I was passing by and hit a bump. A pothole, actually. I started crossing the intersection when my car starting slowing down. The tire popped! I knew that that pothole had done that.

But I didn't know a truck would be speeding into the side of my car.
