Why was I so dizzy?
I opened my eyes, attempting to get my blurry vision to focus on the swirls of crimson on white tile. The reek caused me to choke, and for a second I swore that I was going to vomit.
Where was I?
Instinctively, my hands went up to check that nothing was covering them. Finding nothing, I attempted to call out. Why was it that the room was completely silent? All I could hear was the blood growing in my ears. I forced myself into a standing position, but the world rocked. I could feel my feet slip as I fell back onto the slippery floor.
I awoke, choking on air for a short second. Groaning, I leaned forward, putting my head in my hands. "...God."
England stared at me, somewhat confused and maybe the tiniest bit concerned. "Are you alright?"
I gave a deep exhale, nodding slowly. "Yeah... I just fell asleep, that's all."
I didn't move my head. Breathing in, I rubbed my forehead and sat up slowly, turning to the others on the helicopter row.America was slumped against the window, his mouth twitching a little in his sleep. Carter was collapsed on a small pillow in fetal position. France was sprawled out on his own side of the u-shaped sofa.
I gave an awkward (yet quiet) laugh at this. "Oh, aha. Sorry Carter and I fell asleep. We had a rough..." I trailed off slowly. Oh, right. I hadn't told anyone about the whole "throwing a giant plastic container at a van with people trying to shoot at us inside" bit.
"That's understandable. I am told that New York is pretty far by automobile... and that's why you're most likely staying with Mister Regnard." England sighed and tapped his thumb against his smartphone. "Anyway, can you wake your friend up? We will be there in a couple minutes."
I nodded and turned to shake Carter's shoulder. "Yo," she mumbled.
"Wake up, we're almost there," I informed her, frowning.
Carter sat up, nailing France with her heel. "Aww, damn. I was tired."
America sat up upon hearing commotion. "England, where are we?"
England sighed, putting his phone back in his trouser pocket. "We're landing."
France sat up, rubbing his head. "Thank goodness. I am starting to get motion sickness."
When we landed, everyone (with the exception of America) had to struggle to regain our balances. England managed this fairly quickly, thank goodness, and was able to usher us into a large, black car.
After about of minute of tense, silence, I rubbed my eyes. "So. Is there any way I can help with the terrorists? I mean... I honestly doubt it, but it's worth offering..."
England shook his head. "Just do your job."
I bit my lip.
The British man turned to look out the window. "...we're here."
I rubbed my eyes again. I just wanted to go back to sleep...
