As the meeting was dismissed, it was my job to look for any items left behind. Under a chair, I found a small book. But by the backwards cover, I immediately recognized it as Japan's. It was a volume of Soul Eater. I picked it up and ran into the lobby. "Mister Japaaan, wait!" I shouted.

"O-Oh..." Japan turned around, clearly startled. Maybe... I shouldn't have yelled. Ugh...

"Y-You forgot this." I forced out and held out the book.

Japan took the volume. "Arigato, Miss Petrie." I blinked. He remembered my last name...? That was... surprising. I was so insignificant, why would he remember-

America's voice could suddenly be heard over the crowd. "Japan! Stop talking to girls and get your butt over here!"

I was a singular person... get it right, America.

Japan was turning red again and suddenly I wanted to yell at America in exasperation. "R-Right. Goodbye, Miss Petrie." The slightly shorter male left quickly out of embarrassment. I sighed deeply. It was... fine though. One shouldn't have romantic thoughts over your immortal employer.

Once Japan and America were out of sight, I went to change. I couldn't shake that withdrawn feeling.
