-Allison's POV-
After the few moments of shock it took to realize that there was a person pinning me down, I panicked. "Ah!" I shouted and immediately did my best to shove the person off. Thankfully, the person allowed this and was off of me in mere seconds. I sat up, wheezing. "S-Sorry... w-who are you?!" I asked.
The man got up and lifted his scarlet gaze. In a melodramatic voice, he yelled "I the awesome Prussia!"
A wave of confusion washed over me. "But Prussia isn't still a-"
The man cut me off. I decided to back off. "The awesome Prussia shall conquer all!"
But... he didn't even have an army!
Another man walked over, an expression of barely hidden distain on his young-looking face. "Shut up, you potato bastard. You have no idea what your talking about." I glanced at the man with a random curl. Was... was he related to Feliciano. "Ah, bella~ my name is Romano... or Lovino. It depends on who you ask~" The man winked. Definitely an Italy.
I gave an awkward laugh, a little uncomfortable in all honestly. "It's nice to meet you, Mister Romano."
Another man walked over, and put his arm around Italy's brother. "And I am Spain." I noticed this action... perhaps there was a message that I was supposed to get. There wouldn't have been a problem anyway, though...
South Italy struggled against the man's grip. "Let go of me, stupid tomato bastard! I didn't say that you could touch me!"
"Calm down, Lovino," Spain said with a sigh.
This only made Romano start kicking in random directions. "I said let go of me!"
Prussia only started laughing. "If you were as awesome as the awesome me, you would be fine!" Spain grinned at the man and let go.
Romano whipped around and shouted "Leave me alone!" before running to go hide behind Italy.
I sighed and glanced at Carter, who was talking to someone I was unfamiliar with. Well... that conversation seemed docile enough. I might as well join in. Walking over, I gave a tiny smile. "Who is this?" I asked.
Carter raised her eyebrows. "This is Canada. Haven't you met him? He goes to most of the meetings..."
A few memories seemed to surface in my head... ones that weren't there before. "O-Oh, I'm so sorry. I don't think I've formally met you." I awkwardly extended my hand to the man standing in front of me. He looked an awful lot like America...
Canada gave a small smile. "Nice to meet you too," the male said softly, extending his own pale hand to lightly shake it. He was a lot milder than America too. His hair was longer and messier and the business suit he was wearing was much more modest than America's.
"You don't talk much during the meetings, do you?" I asked.
Canada shook his head. "No... but they wouldn't listen anyway... they're always yelling and I never really get time to talk..."
I gave a small, hopeful smile. Aww. "You probably have good ideas. I was the same way when in highschool... but you can become gradually more outgoing. I know it's hard, but you can always try. Uh... do you have a human name?"
Canada was silent for a moment. Timidly, he said "...Matthew Williams."
I smiled softly. "I have a friend whose whose brother's name is Matthew. He's going into collage this year." And then we started a casual chat, jumping from topic to topic until the meeting was about to start. When the staff began to call us into place, I turned back to smile at Matthew. "I'll see you later, Matt."
He seemed to realize something. "Oh, wait. What's your name?" he squeaked.
I smirked. "Bond. James Bond... nah, it's just Allison Petrie. Have a good day, okay?" I waved and walked over to my spot.
The meeting started with Germany talking about the terrorism threat and how it seemed to be targeting a lot of countries. A man with glasses and dark hair raised his hand. "Yes, Austria?"
Austria stood up. "When certain other terrorists started targeting America in the early two thousands, it vas because of his involvement in the Middle East. Maybe if we can find out why they are targeting us, we can figure out why, exactly, they want to attack us." A few countries nodded in agreement, a couple mumbles followed.
Prussia frowned. "It is almost like they aren't even from this world..." he muttered.
America jumped up. "I knew it! They're aliens!"
The room went silent.
"There are not any aliens, America!" England sputtered in blatant exasperation. He took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes before regaining his confidence and continuing. "The only alien that exists is that gray fellow and quite frankly I'm not even sure if he is a real alien! This matter is serious, so if you could please refrain from suggesting that such idiot and childish ideas are really the cause of all this, than please do!" Arthur slammed his sunglasses on the table, the rest of the room completely in shock. "If you actually were considerate enough to care about anyone but yourself, you would realize that it isn't just your life at stake here! So could you please just shut up?!"
Arthur's eyes were narrowed into ugly red slits as he waited for a response from Alfred. The room was completely silent. My breathe was caught in my throat. Everyone was looking from one man to the other in a fearful anticipation, waiting for a comeback.
The cruel remark of retaliation never came. The younger nation only stared back at the male, his fists clenched into whitened balls. "...England." His voice was calm. "...not cool. At all."
Arthur's eyes narrowed even more for a mere moment. Then, his expression relaxed. "...I'm going home," he whispered, picking up his coat and pulling it over his shoulders. No one said a word. All eyes, including mine, followed the man as he jaggedly walked to the heavy doors. He opened it only slightly and slipped through the crack he had created if, shoving the large panel-like door with a heavy close.
