I don't think I have ever been so excited on a Monday morning. I couldn't wait to see Kade, I couldn't wait to tell Kate about the whole weekend. I was just abnormally excited about going to school.

I grabbed my favorite sundress, it was a bright yellow color and went perfectly with my red hair, I did my hair in a side braid down my right shoulder. I put my wedges on, they weren't that high like normal wedges but they did have a bit of a heel. I put some eyeliner on and was satisfied with what I was wearing and the way I looked.

"You look happy," Cameron commented as I walked into the kitchen.

I ignored him and grabbed some muesli and yogurt to eat.

"Are we leaving for school or what?" I asked a little but annoyed.

"Yes," Cameron mumbled and grabbed the keys from the counter.

I jumped into the passenger seat and Cameron got in.

When we arrived at school I jumped out the car and rushed inside searching for Kate,

I turned the corner and saw Kate sitting on a bench all alone.

I walked up to her and sat down on the bench.

"Hay blonde" I said grinning at her,

"Lexi!" Kate tackled me with a hug, "so start with when he picked you up," Kate said her eyes full of excitement.

I told Kate everything about Saturday and Sunday leaving my breathing under water thing till last.

"-yesterday I was having trouble breathing and I drank some water and I actually breathed it in and I was fine, last night I took a bath and went under the water and breathed in the water, it felt so weird but I could breath, it's the weirdest thing." I said and Kate got all excited.

"Sounds like you had an amazing weekend and I can not believe you can breath under water, it seems unbelievable."

"I know right but the thing is, I can control my invisibility but now if my emotions get out of hand I battle to breath because I can't control that now." I said, we both got up from the bench and started walking.

"Makes sense though, you can control one so you gained another one that you need to gain control over." Kate said, we turned a corner and we both spotted Kade,

We carried on walking and Kade spotted me and ran up to me, engulfing me in a hug.

"Hay" Kade whispered into my ear,

"Hello," I smiled and Kate and Kade said hi to each other.

"You made my friend very happy Kade," Kate said and I smacked her on the arm.

Kade smiled and then looked at me, "I'm glad I could do that, she made me happy too." A small blush rose to my cheeks and I pulled on Kate's arm to indicate we need to go to class.

"We will see you later Kade," I said and then pulled Kate.

"Bye Lex." Kade said and moved back to whomever he was talking to.

"Ahh, you two are too cute." Kate said smiling widely.

I walked through the empty halls during break, it usually wasn't this empty. I walked to the cafeteria and everyone was hovering over something.

I could hear shouting.

I pushed through the crowd to find Cameron being beaten up by some guy that was twice Cameron's size and Cameron wasn't small. I noticed the guy immediately, it was Bradley the bully of the school.

I ran up to Bradley and tried to pull him off of my brother, Cameron was almost passed out and there was a lot of blood.

I wasn't strong enough to so this, I pushed some more and Bradley noticed me.

"Aww look it's little sister trying to save big brother, it's a shame big brother isn't here to save little sister." Bradley hit Cameron once more knocking him out completely and swung his fist at my face connecting it with my jaw. Pain shot through my face but it went away as quickly as it came. Bradley frowned and swung another fist but I caught it with my hand using my telekinesis to keep it away, I kept my hand there so it didn't look weird. I kicked Bradley in the stomach and he went tumbling down.

"Lexi!" I turned around and saw Kade.

"Are you ok?" Kade asked looking worried, "Yeah I'm fine but Cam isn't," I knelt down besides Cameron and tried picking him up but it didn't work.

Kade helped me and took Cameron to the nurses office.

"Did you get hit?" Kade asked as we waited in the nurses office.

"Yeah but it wasn't that bad," I said feeling the spot where Bradley had hit me.

"Lexi?" Mrs. Glimm said through a door,

"Yeah?"

"Cameron is awake if you want to see him."

I nodded and got up from my seat,

"Thanks for the help Kade, you can go if you want." I smiled and walked through the door.

I saw Cameron his face totally blue.

"Hay," I said softly going into the room.

Cameron didn't say anything, he looked like he was in pain.

Mrs. Glimm came through the door with a clipboard.

"Cameron has two broken ribs and lots of bruising to the face, also a fractured arm." She said looking down at the clipboard.

I sighed and looked back at Cameron, he was so beaten up.

"I suggest he goes home and just relaxes."

"I'll call my dad," Cameron moaned and I knew he didn't want me to call dad.

I mouthed the word sorry to him and picked my phone up.

Cameron extended his arm and shook his head.

"Who is going to take you home,"

Cameron mouthed Kade to me and I nodded.

I went outside and Kade was gone, I went back inside the room.

"What class are you guys in now."

"English," Cameron whispered.

I took off to the English class and knocked on the front door.

I was let in luckily.

"Sorry to bother but we need Kade down at the nurses office," I said in front of the whole of year twelve.

"Kade," the teacher pointed towards the door and we both went out.

"What's wrong?"

"I need you to take Cameron home in his car." I said feeling bad.

"Sure no problem," We both walked into the office and into Cameron's room. We helped Cameron up and we took him to his car.

"See you later," I said to Cameron and Kade.
