I lay on my bed looking up at the ceiling. I was waiting for Kade to arrive.

He was bringing pizza and I couldn't wait.

Dad and Cameron were downstairs playing games. I didn't have the energy to do that so I waited upstairs.

I heard a faint knock on my door and I sat up quickly. I rushed to my door and opened it to see the familiar blue eyes staring at me.

"Hey." Kade said in that British accent that I had fallen in love with. Kade was holding two large boxes that contained the pizza.

"Hi." I whispered shyly and opened my door fully to let Kade in.

Kade set the boxes down on my desk and took his jacket off, hanging it over my chair.

"You ok?" Kade asked as he made his way towards me. I nodded and moved to the bed.

Kade sat down next to me and smiled.

It was a bit awkward considering this morning we were fighting a lot.

"You hungry?" I asked getting up from my bed.

Kade nodded and I grabbed the two pizzas, we grabbed a slice and I sat on my bed with my legs crossed, Kade sat opposite me and the pizza was in the middle.

We ate our pizza in silence. I so badly wanted to ask him how his dad was and how he was dealing with the loss of his mother but I knew it would make it even more awkward.

"Lexi, what's wrong, you're acting strange?"

"Nothing, I'm just scared I mess up again." I whispered the last part.

"No you won't, plus it was me who messed up." Kade said as he moved to sit next to me.

His eyes looked deeply into mine and Kade moved closer. His lips brushed past mine and up to my ear.

"You're so perfect." He whispered and moved his lips back down to mine, closing the gap between us.

I closed my eyes and turned so it was more comfortable.

His lips moved slowly against mine and I could feel his hands traveling down my back causing that tingling feeling.

I pulled away to breath and Kade smiled.

That smile sent me over the edge and I crashed my lips against his again nearly knocking him over.

Kade took control and put his hand on the back of my neck to bring me closer.

I laced my fingers through his hair. I gulped before opening my mouth a bit to let Kade slide his tongue in.

I was on the edge of losing all control, I wasn't sure if I was going to let myself lose control.

I heard someone cough awkwardly and I pulled away from Kade, I turned around and saw my dad standing by the door with his arms crossed.

I could feel my face heating up in embarrassment.

"Lexi, I think Kade needs to go home." My dad said in a stern voice.

"He just got here." I whined.

"It's fine Lexi," Kade whispered and got up off my bed.

I sighed and nodded towards my dad. "Could you give us some time." I asked a little bit annoyed.

My dad sighed and nodded before closing my door as he left.

"I'm sorry about that." I whispered to Kade.

Kade moved closer to me and smiled, "It's ok." he replied.

Kade slid his arms around my waist and pulled me into a hug. I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him and buried my head in his chest.

"Can I see you tomorrow?" Kade asked softly. I pulled away so I could reply.

"I'm not sure what my dad is planning for us tomorrow, I'll let you know." I said and Kade nodded.

"I'll talk to you over the phone." Kade said and I led him out of the house.

We stood outside and I could feel the breeze on my bare skin.

"Bye." Kade said and gave me a short kiss.

"Bye," I whispered sadly.

I watched as Kade left and gave a small wave before going into the direction of his house.

I walked back inside of the house and my dad was standing by the front door with his arms crossed.

"I don't like that boy Lexi." My dad said, my eyes grew. Was I hearing correct.

"Excuse me?" I said unbelievably.

"I think he is using you Lexi."

I sighed. "He is far from using me dad!" I shouted, annoyed at him for even thinking that. "Plus this isn't even your choice if I can date him or not." I raised my voice and then moved past my dad as he sighed.

I moved up the stairs and into my room.

I flopped onto my bed and there was the smell of pizza in my room. I sat up and frowned.

I looked towards my desk and there was still an unopened box of pizza.

Kade and I had only eaten one box.

I smiled and pushed myself off of the bed an grabbed the box off of my bed.

I ate the box of pizza on my bed. I was waiting for Kade to message me but the message never came.

I sighed and grabbed my docking station and my phone.

I put a playlist together and got into the shower.

I let the hot water wash away all the tension I had built up today. Right now I didn't give a crap what Cameron and my dad were doing tomorrow. I just wanted to spend it with Kade.

I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair and climbed out the shower, wrapping a towel around my body.

I had two unread messages and I assumed they were from Kade.

I quickly did my wet hair into a messy bun and put my blue pajamas on. I climbed under my duvet and unlocked my phone.

I opened my messages and it was from Kade.

Kade: Hi

Kade: If you aren't doing anything tomorrow, do you want to go somewhere with me?

I smiled and started texting.

Me: Not doing anything, sure why not?

I plugged my earphones in as I waited for the reply and played This Is How We Do by Katy Perry.

Kade: Awesome, I'll pick you up at eleven.

Me: So early?

Kade: We have to get there early but I can't tell you where. It will be hot. ;)

Kade and I carried on our conversation till almost three in the morning when I eventually fell asleep
listening to music and waiting for a reply.
