The thing about forgiveness is that it's a hard thing to do, especially if you have been hurt by that person.
This is Kate's situation. She still loves Oliver, he still loves her but Kate can not bring herself to forgive him but she is getting there, it's Thursday and Kate has finally worked up enough courage to talk to Oliver.
"Just remember to keep calm, remember all the times he kissed you and how that made you feel."
Kate nodded and we walked up to Oliver, he was sitting with his group of friends by a bench outside.
It was nearly the end of break because it took us most of the time to try and find Oliver.
We arrived at the table and everyone looked at us and then at Oliver.
Oliver looked at me and I gave him a weak smile.
He stood up and we went to a tree with an open desk to sit at.
"I'll give you two some privacy," I said as I spotted Kade looking for an open table.
I walked over to him and he spotted me,
"Hay Lex." Kade smiled and we walked together to an open table.
"Hay." I replied as we sat down at a desk near the one Kate and Oliver were sitting at.
"So why aren't you sitting with my brother?" I asked looking around to try and spot him.
"He had a football meeting and so did the rest of the group."
I nodded and looked over at Kate and Oliver.
"Are they back together now?"
I shook my head "No, I told Kate she needed to talk to him so I forced it upon her."
Kade nodded and looked at me, I looked into his blue eyes and started feeling a little bit shy.
"You're very shy Lex." Kade said, I liked the name he called me.
I shrugged and let a small laugh.
"So I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie with me this Saturday?" Kade asked with his gorgeous smile.
I smiled and looked up into his eyes, "That would be very nice but will you be able to get through my 'overprotective' brother?" I said smirking.
"I would only take that risk for you Lexi."
A could feel my face heating up.
"SMS me the details," I said getting up from the table.
"Where you going?" Kade asked looking disappointed.
"Kate's done talking to Oliver, I have to be there for her, talk later Kade." I smiled sweetly and walked over to Kate
"How'd it go?"
"He told me his side of the story and I told him mine and we forgive each other but I'm not ready to date him just yet." Kate said giving me a sweet smile.
"That's good, glad Oliver understands." I said as we walked into the school.
"So I see you were talking to Kade?"
"Yeah, he asked me out." I said smiling widely.
"What!" Kate squealed.
I giggled and nodded.
"Oh my gosh Lexi! That's amazing! Your first kind and proper boyfriend!" Kate was definitely happy.
"Hay he isn't my boyfriend yet he just asked if I wanted to see a movie with him." I said shaking my head at Kate.
